Disneyland Removes Fantastic Four and H.E.R.B.I.E. Meet-and-Greet from Tomorrowland

Disneyland has quietly pulled one of its newest additions to Tomorrowland, just months after its summer debut. According to updates on the official Disneyland website and app, The Fantastic Four and H.E.R.B.I.E. will no longer be meeting guests in the park.

A New Attraction Already Gone

The meet-and-greet had launched earlier this summer, giving fans the chance to interact with Marvel’s iconic superhero team alongside their robotic companion, H.E.R.B.I.E., in a specially themed area of Tomorrowland. Guests could take photos, get autographs, and enjoy a rare opportunity to meet characters from the Fantastic Four franchise.

The removal comes as a surprise to many visitors, especially considering the attraction had been promoted as part of Disneyland’s expanding Marvel presence in the park. No official explanation has been provided, leaving it unclear whether the change is temporary for refurbishment or a permanent discontinuation.

Why So Soon?

Fans who had been planning to meet Mr. Fantastic, the Invisible Woman, the Human Torch, or The Thingβ€”and, of course, H.E.R.B.I.E.β€”will now need to adjust their itineraries, as the characters are no longer listed on the park’s digital guides or interactive maps.

Disneyland has yet to release a formal statement addressing the removal, leaving many fans speculating about the decision. As with other character experiences, the park routinely rotates meet-and-greets and sometimes retires certain characters to make room for new additions or seasonal events.

Visitors planning trips to Disneyland are encouraged to check the official website or app for the latest updates on character appearances and meet-and-greet opportunities. While the Fantastic Four and H.E.R.B.I.E. are no longer available, Disneyland continues to offer a wide array of Marvel and other themed experiences throughout the park.
