Disney’s Hollywood Studios Announces New Darth Vader Meet-and-Greet Location

Star Wars fans have a new reason to get excited at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Starting tomorrow, September 25, guests will be able to meet Darth Vader at a brand-new location in the park. Relocation Following Permanent Closures

This move comes in the wake of the permanent closure of Star Wars: Launch Bay and the Animation Courtyard, both of which had previously served as primary locations for Star Wars-themed meet-and-greets and interactive experiences. With those areas no longer accessible, Disney has shifted Vader to a central Star Wars-themed space, keeping the iconic villain at the heart of the park’s galaxy far, far away.

The new setup allows guests to engage with Darth Vader in a way that complements the storyline of Star Tours. While Disney has not released specific details about how long this location will remain active, the character is scheduled to appear daily starting September 25. Fans are encouraged to arrive early, as lines are expected to form quickly given Vader’s enduring popularity among park visitors.

A Unique Encounter for Guests

The relocation underscores Disney’s effort to maintain accessible Star Wars interactions even as Hollywood Studios continues to evolve its themed areas. From rides and attractions to character experiences, the park consistently seeks to provide immersive and memorable encounters for fans of all ages.

By moving Darth Vader near the Star Tours queue, Disney merges the thrill of the iconic attraction with the excitement of meeting one of cinema’s most formidable villains. Visitors are advised to check the official Disney website or app for updates on character appearances, ensuring they don’t miss the chance to step into the galaxy and face the Dark Lord in person.
