Authorities received notification about a missing person at Disney's Art of Animation Resort shortly after 7:30 p.m. on December 30. Scanner monitoring account @WDWActiveCrime documented the emergency call on X (formerly Twitter):

The Google Maps screenshot's pinpointed location may not accurately reflect the actual site of the missing person report. Walt Disney World Resort routes 911 calls to centralized addresses for each hotel and theme park rather than exact emergency locations.
The Value Resort's connection to Disney's Pop Century Resort creates an extensive search area. Plus, the Disney Skyliner offers transportation to Disney's Hollywood Studios, EPCOT, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, and Disney's Riviera Resort, and buses provide service to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Magic Kingdom Park, and Disney Springs.

Fortunately, law enforcement successfully located the missing individual. @WDWActiveCrime reported the call closure and reclassification to “citizen assist,” indicating authorities helped reunite the lost guest with their party.
Call was closed and changed to Citizen Assist. Suggests that the person is no longer missing.

Separate Trespassing Incident

Minutes after the missing person report was filed, Disney's Art of Animation Resort experienced a second law enforcement response. At 8:14 p.m., Disney security contacted local authorities regarding a trespasser at the hotel. Scanner reports briefly showed “standby” status, suggesting Disney cast members initially reconsidered banning the individual from the Central Florida property before finalizing the trespassing classification.

The separate tracking of the missing person and trespassing calls indicates that the incidents were likely not connected, despite occurring at the same location. Trespassers at Walt Disney World Resort include individuals who have been previously banned from the resort and return, as well as guests who receive new trespass notices from Disney security due to rule violations or disruptive conduct.
