Universal Orlando Resort has officially pulled back the curtain on its Mardi Gras 2026 plans, revealing a full entertainment lineup that shows just how important the event has become to the resort’s yearly programming.
Scheduled to run from February 7 through April 4, Universal Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval will once again offer guests weeks of live concerts, nightly parades, and globally inspired food—all included with regular park admission.

The heart of the announcement is the concert series, which features 11 live performances spread across the event’s run. Universal’s approach for 2026 is clear: variety over uniformity. Rather than catering to a single audience, the lineup spans multiple genres, ensuring that nearly every type of visitor can find at least one night worth planning around.
Pop fans will be drawn to the February 21 performance featuring Joey Fatone of *NSYNC alongside AJ McLean of the Backstreet Boys, a collaboration that blends nostalgia with broad appeal. Electronic music plays a larger role this year as well, with DJ-driven performances from Kaskade, RuPaul, and Zedd offering high-energy nights that feel distinctly different from traditional band concerts.
Alternative and rock fans are not left out. Portugal. The Man, Barenaked Ladies, and The All-American Rejects bring recognizable catalog-driven shows that tend to attract large, diverse crowds. Meanwhile, artists like Ivy Queen, Shaggy, and Tyler Hubbard expand the lineup into Latin, reggae, and country territory, reinforcing Universal’s goal of musical balance rather than repetition.
Entertainment at Mardi Gras extends far beyond the stage. The event’s signature parade will return nightly, featuring 12 detailed floats inspired by New Orleans traditions. Combined with roaming performers, live music, and bead tossing, the parade helps blur the line between scheduled entertainment and spontaneous celebration throughout the park.

Food continues to be a defining feature of the Mardi Gras experience. Guests can expect more than 40 dishes inspired by 12 countries, available at kiosks throughout Universal Studios Florida. The offerings range from rich Cajun flavors and French-inspired dishes to European comfort foods and bold Asian options. Returning favorites like beignets anchor the menu, while new additions give repeat visitors a reason to keep exploring.
The celebration also reaches beyond the park itself. Universal’s on-site hotels will feature select Mardi Gras-inspired menu items, and CityWalk will host additional entertainment and specialty drink offerings on select nights. The Mardi Gras Tribute Store will return with updated theming and exclusive merchandise, further extending the event’s footprint.
With its full 2026 lineup now revealed, Mardi Gras continues to stand out as one of Universal Orlando’s most accessible and comprehensive seasonal events. The combination of live concerts, immersive entertainment, and international food—spread across nearly two months—positions Mardi Gras not just as a festival, but as a recurring reason to return to the parks throughout the spring season.
