Don’t Book That Off-Site Hotel Yet! Disney World Just Confirmed Massive Perks for 2027

If youโ€™re a Disney planner, April 16, 2026, just became your favorite day of the year. Disney has officially pulled back the curtain on its 2027 vacation packages, and while prices always seem to go in one direction (up!), the “House of Mouse” is making a serious play to keep you staying “in the bubble.”

With the Orlando tourism scene getting more competitive by the minute, Disney has officially confirmed that five of its most popular guest perks are locked in for the 2027 season. If youโ€™ve been debating between a Disney Resort and a cheaper offsite Airbnb, these confirmed benefits might just tip the scales back toward the magic.

Here is the breakdown of the five perks confirmed for 2027 that make staying on-property a total game-changer.

1. Early Theme Park Entry (The 30-Minute Head Start)

Itโ€™s the gold standard for “Rope Droppers.” Disney has confirmed that Early theme park Entry will return for 2027. This allows guests at all Disney-owned resorts (and select others) to enter any of the four theme parks 30 minutes before the general public, every single day.

In 2027, those 30 minutes are like gold. Itโ€™s the difference between walking onto Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance or staring at a 120-minute wait by noon. For families looking to maximize their ticket value, this perk remains the single best way to beat the crowds without opening your wallet for extra skip-the-line passes.

2. Extended Evening Hours (The Deluxe Exclusive)

If youโ€™re staying at a Disney Deluxe Resort or Deluxe Villa, the parks are yours after the sun goes down. Disney confirmed that Extended Evening theme park Hours will continue on select nights for select parks in 2027.

This is arguably the most “VIP” perk available. These two extra hours typically see incredibly low wait times for headliners like TRON Lightcycle / Run and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. If you want to experience the parks with that rare, “empty” feeling, staying in a Deluxe room in 2027 is the way to do it.

3. Free Water Park Access on Arrival Day

This was a massive fan-favorite when it debuted, and Disney has officially extended it through 2027. If you check into a Disney Resort next year, you get complimentary admission to a Disney Water Park on your check-in day.

Traditionally, arrival day is a bit of a “wash”โ€”youโ€™re tired from travel and donโ€™t want to waste a full park ticket on half a day. Now, you can drop your bags and head straight to Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach for free. For a family of four, this adds nearly $300 in immediate value to your vacation.

4. Complimentary Resort Transportation

One of the best parts of a Disney vacation is never having to look at a GPS or pay for an Uber. Disney confirmed that its massive transportation networkโ€”including the Monorail, Disney Skyliner, water taxis, and busesโ€”will remain free for all resort guests in 2027.

Beyond the “cool factor” of taking a gondola to EPCOT, this is a major budget-saver. With standard theme park parking now costing a pretty penny for offsite guests, “free” transport (and free parking for those who do drive) is a perk that pays for itself over a week-long stay.

5. The 60-Day “Planning Window” Advantage

Disney World in 2027 is still a place where the “planners” win. Disney confirmed that resort guests will still get a head start on Advanced Dining Reservations and Lightning Lane selections.

Staying onsite allows you to book dining for your entire stay (up to 10 days) starting 60 days before you arrive. offsite guests have to book one day at a time. This is often the only way to snag a table at Space 220 or Be Our Guest. In 2027, “early access” is the ultimate currency.

The 2027 Verdict

By locking in these perks, Disney is clearly aiming to provide a “seamless” experience. While offsite hotels may offer lower nightly rates, they canโ€™t give you the extra time in the parks or the free water park “bonus” day.

When you add up the time saved during Early Entry and the money saved on transportation and water park tickets, the “Disney Bubble” looks more attractive than ever for 2027.
