Disney World guests may want to start practicing their virtual queue strategy now because May 26 could turn into absolute madness at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Bluey is finally arriving at Walt Disney World, and Disney already seems fully aware that demand is going to be overwhelming.

Bluey’s Wild World officially opens May 26 at Conservation Station inside Animal Kingdom as part of Cool KIDS’ SUMMER, a huge seasonal push featuring entertainment, character experiences, and family activities across all four Disney parks.
But there is one detail that immediately stood out to longtime Disney fans: there will be no standby line.
At least initially, the only way guests can experience Bluey’s Wild World is through a virtual queue system inside the My Disney Experience app.
That usually means one thing at Disney World: good luck.
The first queue drop opens at 7 a.m., followed by another opportunity at 10 a.m. once guests are physically inside Animal Kingdom. If recent Disney virtual queues have taught fans anything, though, it is that these spots may disappear almost instantly.

And honestly, Bluey might create even bigger demand than some attractions.
This is not just another Disney Junior character meet-and-greet. Bluey has become a cultural phenomenon with families. Parents love the show. Kids are obsessed with it. Disney introducing a limited-capacity Bluey experience inside one of its smaller parks during the beginning of summer vacation almost feels like a recipe for disaster.
The actual experience sounds pretty elaborate too.
Guests will head to Conservation Station aboard the Wildlife Express Train and participate in games and activities inspired by Bluey and Bingo. Disney is also introducing kangaroos and wallabies to the area while transforming Affection Section into a newly themed space called Jumping Junction.
That sounds great in theory.
But because guests must ride the train to reach Conservation Station, capacity will naturally stay limited. Disney likely knows this already, which is probably why the company skipped a traditional standby line completely.

Families that fail to secure a boarding group may simply never get access that day.
The good news is that Disney is launching far more than just Bluey on May 26.
Cool KIDS’ SUMMER is basically Disney’s big answer to summer crowds this year, and every park is getting something new.
Animal Kingdom itself still offers plenty for families even without Bluey. Kali River Rapids becomes incredibly popular once Florida temperatures spike, and Kilimanjaro Safaris always feels different during summer because animal activity changes throughout the day.
The park also continues offering one of Disney’s most underrated stage productions with Finding Nemo: The Big Blue… and Beyond!
Guests can also still enjoy some Bluey-themed offerings around Animal Kingdom even if they miss the virtual queue. Disney confirmed themed snacks, drinks, merchandise, and Magic Shots will be available throughout Discovery Island and Conservation Station.

Elsewhere across Walt Disney World, Disney’s Hollywood Studios is getting Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! and the opening of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets. EPCOT will debut Soarin’ Across America again for the summer season, while Magic Kingdom keeps pushing newer entertainment offerings and refreshed attractions.
So no, missing Bluey will not ruin an entire vacation.
Still, May 26 could become incredibly stressful for families whose children have their hearts set on the experience.
The reality is pretty simple. Disney knows Bluey is going to pull massive crowds. That is exactly why the company built a virtual queue around it before opening day even arrived.
And unless Disney dramatically increases capacity later, Bluey’s Wild World may quickly become one of the toughest experiences to access anywhere at Walt Disney World this summer.
