Most families visiting Central Florida this summer are going to spend the majority of their time at Walt Disney World or Universal Orlando and never know that less than an hour down the road there is a theme park doing something genuinely special right now that deserves its own day on the itinerary.
Legoland Florida Resort in Winter Haven launched the FIFA World Cup 2026 Experience on June 11 and it runs through July 19. It is included with regular park admission. No upcharge. No separate ticket. Just walk through the gates and the whole thing is yours.
For families who want to engage with the World Cup excitement happening across the United States, Canada, and Mexico this summer in a way that actually works for kids, Legoland Florida just built the most practical and genuinely fun answer available in the state of Florida.
What Is Inside the World Cup Experience
The FIFA World Cup 2026 Experience takes over a dedicated section of Legoland Florida and turns it into a soccer-themed fan zone built entirely around LEGO-inspired activities, skill challenges, photo moments, and interactive games designed for the whole family.
The Training Academy is the core of the experience and it runs guests through three distinct challenges. Spot Shot is a fast-paced accuracy game where guests take their best shot under pressure. Super Squad is a family passing game where participants are assigned colors and must quickly pass the ball to the correct person when their color is called. Kick-Off is the final challenge, putting guests head to head against a LEGO Minifigure in a goal-scoring showdown that is more inventive and more fun than the concept suggests on paper.
Beyond the skill challenges, guests can meet LEGO brick recreations of Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Vinícius Júnior with photo opportunities throughout the event space. The LEGO FIFA World Cup Official Trophy is available for a photo moment that gives families a tangible connection to the tournament's most recognizable symbol. A custom jersey design station lets guests build their own soccer jersey in LEGO bricks and add it to the Heroes of Play Wall, which is exactly the kind of build-and-take-the-memory activity that Legoland does better than any other theme park in the region.
Iconic soccer songs play throughout the event space and the LEGO Model Citizens running the experience keep energy levels consistently high across the event area.
From this weekend, June 11–July 19, 2026, participating Legoland parks turn into soccer-themed fan zones packed with LEGO-inspired activities, games and photo ops—kicking off alongside the FIFA World Cup!

The Food
Limited-time food is available at two locations inside the park during the event.
The Legoland Coffee Co. is offering a Green Apple Frozen Lemonade for $10.37 with green apple bobas layered on top and bottom. The lemonade cuts the sour flavor from the green apple in a way that works considerably better than expected and makes for a genuinely refreshing summer drink.
Dragon's Den has two event options. The Messy Fries at $10.89 arrive loaded with cheese, ham, pulled pork, bacon, and chives. The name is accurate and the portion is generous. The BBQ Dog at $11.89 is a hot dog topped with pulled pork, BBQ sauce, crispy onions, and coleslaw, a knife and fork situation that rewards guests who come in knowing what they are ordering.

The Drive and the Price for World Cup Experience
Legoland Florida is approximately 45 to 50 minutes from Walt Disney World in Winter Haven. The drive is manageable, and the pricing conversation that waits on the other end of it is genuinely attractive compared to a comparable Disney day.
Legoland Florida tickets currently start at $129 with a buy-one-get-one promotion available. Multi-park tickets start at $154 with the same structure. The FIFA World Cup Experience is included with all admission at no additional cost.
Walt Disney World one-day tickets start at $119 on non-peak days and climb to $179 or higher during summer. For a family of four the per-person math at Legoland with the current promotional pricing looks significantly different from a peak summer Disney day.
The Simple Version
The World Cup happens once every four years. Legoland Florida built a family experience around it that is 40 minutes from Disney World, included with park admission, running through July 19, and genuinely worth the drive for any Central Florida family who has been looking for a theme park day that delivers something different from the Disney and Universal options without leaving the area.
It is already running. It ends July 19. The drive is 40 minutes.
