Disney World Overhauls Menus Across 32 Restaurants: What’s In, What’s Out

Dining plans may need a second look for guests heading to Walt Disney World. Disney recently updated menus at locations across all four theme parks, multiple resort hotels, and Disney Springs, bringing a mix of new offerings and discontinued favorites.

Some changes are small, while others significantly reshape what guests can order.

Resort Restaurants See a Surge of New Offerings

The biggest collection of updates outside the parks arrived at Disney's hotels.

A patriotic-themed Red, White, and Blue Lemonade Cocktail appeared at numerous resort locations, including bars at Animal Kingdom Lodge, Grand Floridian, Old Key West, Polynesian Village Resort, Saratoga Springs Resort, Port Orleans French Quarter, Port Orleans Riverside, and Art of Animation Resort.

Other additions include the Star Spangled Shake at Beaches & Cream and Ride Like the Wind, Bullseye! at World Premiere Food Court.

A few menu items disappeared during the refresh. Gasparilla Island Grill removed Chocolate Milk, while Contempo Cafe no longer offers its Fried Fish and Shrimp Basket.

Disney Springs joined the update with Amorette's Patisserie adding the Yodel-ay-hee-hoo! Cheesecake.

Magic Kingdom Receives Two New Additions

Magic Kingdom's changes are straightforward but noticeable.

Guests can now order a Grande Blue Coconut Lemonade Energy Refresher from Main Street Bakery. Friar's Nook also expanded its menu with a Jumbo Pretzel.

While the additions are limited, both fit naturally into the park's quick-service dining options.

Hollywood Studios Swaps Out Familiar Favorites

Several menu changes arrived at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

ABC Commissary removed its Kids' Rice Pasta Macaroni & Cheese Soy Allergy-Friendly selection.

Backlot Express replaced the Your Chosen Path Cupcake with Sheriff Jessie Punch. Nearby, Woody's Lunch Box retired The Clawwww! Lunch Box Tart and added the Lilypad Lunch Box Tart instead.

Trolley Car Cafe rounded out the park's updates by adding the Blue Coconut Lemonade Energy Refresher.

Together, the changes continue Disney's ongoing rotation of seasonal snacks and specialty beverages.

Animal Kingdom Undergoes the Largest Menu Refresh

Animal Kingdom easily leads the resort in total changes.

Creature Comforts added the Blue Coconut Lemonade Energy Refresher. Flame Tree Barbecue removed Plant-based Burnt Ends while introducing a RAMONA Blood Orange Wine Spritz and Korean Barbecue Sandwich.

Several desserts and drinks disappeared across the park, including Bunny Burrow at Isle of Java, The Simba Drink at Eight Spoon Cafe, and Chocolate Swirl Cheesecake at Pizzafari.

Pizzafari replaced that dessert with a Marbled Swirled Cheesecake.

Meanwhile, Satu'li Canteen retired its Specialty Matcha Cold Brew and Specialty Cold Brew Flight. New menu items include Spicy Pork Steamed “Pods,” Specialty Chai Cold Brew, Cold Brew with Rum and Sweet Cream, Pandoran Sunrise with Rum, and Ube Cold Brew with Rum.

Additional updates include Stuffed Pancake Sandwiches at both Harambe Fruit Market and Tamu Tamu Refreshments. Tiffins removed Buena Vista Coffee and added the Orange Carajillo and Yuzu Amarillo Cocktail.

EPCOT's Update Focuses on Two Locations

Compared with the other parks, EPCOT's update is brief.

Kringla Bakeri og Kafe added a Coconut Cream Cold Brew, while Block & Hans removed Cinnamon-glazed Nuts.

The changes may be limited, but they still give returning guests something new to try.

Disney's Menus Continue to Evolve

One thing remains constant at Walt Disney World: menus rarely stay the same for long. This latest update cycle introduced dozens of additions while retiring several familiar items across the resort. Whether guests are searching for a new cold brew in Pandora, a themed dessert at Disney Springs, or a new snack in Magic Kingdom, there is plenty to discover on their next visit.
