After Opening in 2025, Astrofizz Appears Ready for Its Next Major Disney Upgrade

A change may be on the horizon for one of Magic Kingdom's newest dining locations.

Astrofizz, the colorful snack kiosk that now sits in Tomorrowland, appears poised to receive mobile ordering support through the My Disney Experience app. Disney hasn't formally announced the addition, but clues inside both the app and online dining listings suggest the feature is being prepared behind the scenes.

Guests can currently locate Astrofizz in the app and even find a mobile order option attached to the location. However, selecting it leads to unavailable pickup windows rather than an active ordering screen.

That usually indicates Disney is testing or preparing a service before its official launch.

If the feature does arrive soon, it would continue a trend that has reshaped how many visitors experience Walt Disney World.

Not long ago, grabbing a quick snack meant finding a line, waiting your turn, placing an order, and then waiting again for food. Mobile ordering changed that process by moving much of it onto a smartphone.

The system has become especially popular at quick-service restaurants, where guests can browse menus, customize orders, and pay before ever reaching the pickup area.

Adding Astrofizz may seem like a small expansion, but the location's position in Tomorrowland makes it more important than some visitors realize.

The kiosk sits in one of the busiest sections of Magic Kingdom. Throughout the day, thousands of guests move between headline attractions nearby, creating constant foot traffic around the stand.

When temperatures climb into the 90s, frozen beverages become even more appealing.

Astrofizz specializes in exactly those kinds of refreshments. Guests can purchase slushies, soft drinks, popcorn, cotton candy, bottled water, and several classic Disney frozen treats. The location also occasionally offers specialty items and limited-time snacks.

Because most purchases are quick and relatively inexpensive, many guests make spontaneous stops. Unfortunately, that convenience can disappear when lines begin forming.

Mobile ordering could dramatically improve that experience.

Instead of deciding whether a snack stop is worth the wait, guests could place their order while walking through Tomorrowland and simply retrieve it when they arrive.

It's exactly the type of efficiency Disney has been working toward across the resort.

The company continues investing heavily in digital tools that allow visitors to manage more of their day through the My Disney Experience app. Dining reservations, hotel information, Lightning Lane selections, virtual queues, and merchandise services are already integrated into the platform.

Adding Astrofizz would simply be the latest example of Disney expanding those capabilities.

For now, guests will have to wait for an official announcement. Disney has not provided a launch timeline, and mobile ordering remains unavailable despite appearing in the app.

Still, the evidence suggests that the service is coming.

When it does, Tomorrowland visitors will gain another convenient way to grab a drink, cool down, and get back to enjoying the attractions that make Magic Kingdom one of the most visited theme parks in the world.
