Disneyland Park Confirms End of Its Daytime Parade in Just 37 Days

Disney is preparing to end one of its theme park daytime parades, effective September 6.

Parades are a regular part of the Disney park experience, including Festival of Fantasy at Magic Kingdom, Paint the Night at Disneyland, and Harmony in Color at Tokyo Disneyland. Each combines themed floats, performers, music, and Disney characters along a designated route through the park.

However, one parade is set to end – possibly for good – in just over a month.

Parade End Confirmed at Disney Park

A Million Splashes of Colour will wrap up its run at Disneyland Park from September 6.

While the parade has gone on hiatus at similar times in previous years to make way for the park's Halloween and Christmas celebrations, fans have cast doubt on the possibility of its return in 2027.

Disneyland Park – the primary park of Disneyland Paris – is set to celebrate its 35th anniversary in 2027, which fans believe will usher in a brand-new parade, making A Million Splashes of Colour irrelevant.

🎨 And the current run of “A Million Splashes of Colour” will end on September 6.
While nothing official has been announced, it’s unlikely that it would return in 2027 (or ever?) given the #DisneylandParis35 celebrations.

A Million Splashes of Colour debuted in February 2024 as part of Disneyland Paris’ Disney Symphony of Colours season. The 30-minute daytime show brought 30 performers and characters to Central Plaza before returning earlier this year for a second run.

The parade didn't exactly receive positive reviews during its initial run, with diehard parkgoers criticizing its minimal floats and soundtrack. Disney made several amendments to the parade when it returned in early 2026 to partially remedy these issues – although A Million Splashes of Colour is still not as popular as the park's other daytime parade, Disney Stars on Parade.

There's a chance that the parade could live on in another form. This week, Disneyland Paris tested a stage show version of A Million Splashes of Colour in Discoveryland's Videopolis theater.

Fans have praised the move as a necessary test for the future, with the recent heatwave at Disneyland Paris leading to the removal of costumed characters in the resort's parades until the temperatures dropped.
