The Mandalorian & Grogu (2026) may have replaced The Mandalorian Season 4, but Lucasfilm clearly isn't finished with Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and Grogu just yet.
Following reports that the Disney+ series is no longer moving forward beyond its third season, many fans wondered whether the galaxy's favorite bounty hunter and his pint-sized companion would continue to headline new stories.
While their latest theatrical outing received a mixed response from audiences and became the lowest-grossing live-action Star Wars movie to date, Lucasfilm is continuing to expand the pair's adventures in other corners of the franchise.

Rather than disappearing alongside the Disney+ series, Din and Grogu continue to appear in LEGO specials, tabletop games, novels, comics, and other Star Wars media.
Now, another brand-new adventure has officially been announced.
Per CBR.com, writer Delilah S. Dawson is returning following Star Wars: The Mandalorian & Grogu: Danger in the Dark for another graphic novel, The Mandalorian and Grogu: Nightmare on Navarro. Revealed during San Diego Comic-Con 2026, the book also reunites Dawson with illustrator Alessandro Ranaldi.
The upcoming story takes place between The Mandalorian Season 3 and The Mandalorian & Grogu, following Din Djarin and Grogu as they join familiar allies on a dangerous mission beneath the surface of Nevarro.
According to CBR.com, the pair will investigate a ruined pirate vessel hidden within the planet's lava tubes, a setting that evokes memories of Mustafar, where Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi fought one of the defining battles in Star Wars history.
Meanwhile, The Mandalorian & Grogu is now available on digital platforms after arriving on July 21. Directed by Jon Favreau from a screenplay by Favreau, Dave Filoni, and Noah Kloor, the film stars Pedro Pascal as Din Djarin alongside Sigourney Weaver as Colonel Ward and Jeremy Allen White as Rotta the Hutt.
Whether Lucasfilm eventually revisits The Mandalorian as a television series remains unclear, but one thing is certain: Din Djarin and Grogu's journey across the galaxy is far from over.
