Disney has confirmed an opportunity for some guests to book early access to its brand-new hotel.
Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge is a new nature-inspired resort taking shape on the shores of Bay Lake at Walt Disney World. The 967-room property will feature studios, villas, suites, and one- and two-bedroom waterfront Lake Houses, with design details inspired by Disney films including Pocahontas (1995), Bambi (1942), and Brother Bear (2003).
The resort will open July 1, 2027, with several new dining options. Moonglade will serve seasonal dishes in a waterfront table-service setting, while Bay Lake Provisions will offer quick-service food and coffee. Guests can also visit Paint Out Point Bar & Grill by the pool and the fireworks-facing Dandelion Terrace lounge.
Bookings officially open for the hotel in October. However, some guests will get a chance to stay at the hotel early.
Disney Confirms Early Stays For Some Guests
Disney Vacation Club has announced a special “First Wave” experience at Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge, giving eligible DVC members the chance to stay at the new Walt Disney World resort before it officially opens.
The event will run from June 24 through June 27, 2027, meaning they'll experience the resort a week early.

The three-night package includes a stay at Lakeshore Lodge, three-day Park Hopper tickets, exclusive dining experiences and a $200 dining card for each guest. Members will also receive behind-the-scenes resort insights and commemorative keepsakes marking their early visit to the property.
Bookings for the First Wave experience open November 7. Pricing starts at 184 Disney Vacation Club points for two adults staying in a Duo Studio, with other room types and party sizes requiring more points according to the accompanying points chart.
Beyond dining, highlights of the hotel include The Wetlands, a sprawling recreation area featuring the Daydream River lazy river, the zero-entry Lakeshore Lagoon pool and a spiral waterslide. Younger guests will also find Pocahontas-inspired wet and dry play areas, while Cypress Point will offer a quieter leisure pool and whirlpool spa.
