Few Christmas movies have become as beloved as Disney’s The Muppet Christmas Carol. Released in 1992, the festive favorite brought Charles Dickens’ classic story to life with Kermit the Frog as Bob Cratchit, Gonzo as Charles Dickens, and Michael Caine as Ebenezer Scrooge.
More than three decades later, it remains a holiday favorite.
Now, Muppet fans have another chance to experience the film in a completely different way, as The Muppet Christmas Carol in Concert Live to Film returns to London for its sixth consecutive year.

Disney’s The Muppet Christmas Carol in Concert Live to Film will arrive at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith on November 28, 2026, before embarking on a 15-date UK tour.
The event combines a screening of the complete movie with a full orchestra performing Miles Goodman’s original score live in sync with the film. The concert also features Paul Williams’ songs, including “One More Sleep ’til Christmas,” “Marley and Marley,” and “Thankful Heart.”
The 2026 tour will travel from London to venues including Poole, Bradford, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Nottingham, Southend, Manchester, Birmingham, Sheffield, Bath, Brighton, and Portsmouth, with the final performances taking place in Manchester on December 17.
The production has become an annual festive event, with 2026 marking its sixth year at the Eventim Apollo. Audiences can revisit the movie while hearing its music performed by a live orchestra.
The Muppet Christmas Carol follows Scrooge as he is visited by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come, eventually learning the importance of kindness and generosity. With its mix of Dickensian storytelling, Muppet comedy, and moving songs, the movie remains a Christmas classic.
For fans who want to make the holiday season even more magical, Kermit and the gang are once again bringing their version of Dickens’ tale to the concert hall this Christmas.
