One of Disneyland's most romantic celebrations could be preparing for another round of late nights inside Disneyland Park.
Sweethearts’ Nite has given guests a very different way to experience the park around Valentine's Day, turning select evenings into separately ticketed celebrations filled with special entertainment and experiences.
Now that 2026's event is behind us, attention is shifting toward 2027.
There is one important catch: Disney hasn't announced the dates yet.
That leaves anyone hoping to plan a Disneyland trip around Sweethearts’ Nite waiting for official information. Fortunately, Disney's recent scheduling habits give us some clues about when the event could happen and when tickets could become available.
The Celebration Could Start Before Valentine’s Day
It would be easy to assume that Sweethearts’ Nite takes place exclusively around February 14, but Disneyland has given guests a much larger window.
In 2026, the first Sweethearts’ Nite happened on January 22.
Two more January events followed on January 25 and January 27. Disneyland then hosted the event on February 3, 5, 8, 10, 12, and 17.
In total, that meant nine separate event nights.
Disney could always change its approach in 2027, and no dates are official at this point. However, the previous calendar makes late January through mid-February an important period for prospective guests to keep in mind.
The event has previously run between 9 p.m. and 1 a.m. Guests with Sweethearts’ Nite tickets could enter Disneyland at 6 p.m., giving them some additional park time before the special festivities began.
There’s More Than Rides After Dark
Sweethearts’ Nite isn't simply about getting several extra hours at Disneyland.
Disney has filled the event with experiences tied to its love and romance theme.
The 2026 edition included Celebrate Love Cavalcade, which incorporated romantic, family, and friendship stories.
Once Upon a Dream – A Musical Journey Through the Disney Songbook added live music to the night, while guests could try Disney Duets karaoke at the Golden Horseshoe.
Tomorrowland Terrace hosted a Valentine’s Dance Party as well.
Meanwhile, Disney offered photo backdrops featuring The Aristocats (1970), Tangled (2010), Aladdin (1992), Lady and the Tramp (1955), and other Disney stories.
Unique character opportunities, event merchandise, and specialty food added even more to the night.
Disney hasn't confirmed which of those offerings, if any, will come back in 2027. The next Sweethearts’ Nite could bring returning favorites, changes, or a mixture of both.
When Could Tickets Go on Sale?
Guests probably shouldn't expect Disney to announce 2027 dates months and months in advance.
Recent history points toward December.
Disney typically reveals Sweethearts’ Nite information around early December, which means fans may only have a few more months to wait.
Ticket sales for 2026 also followed shortly afterward.
The Inspire Key presale began December 9, 2025, with a limited number of tickets available. Disney expanded sales to all Magic Key holders on December 10 before opening purchases to the general public December 11.
Nothing guarantees Disney will repeat that exact process for 2027.
Still, it gives guests interested in attending a reason to keep a closer eye on Disneyland announcements once December arrives.
Until then, there are two periods worth remembering.
Late January through mid-February is the likely window for Sweethearts’ Nite based on the 2026 schedule, while early December is when information and ticket details could arrive.
Disney hasn't made anything official yet. But for guests already thinking about a romantic Disneyland night in 2027, the countdown to learning more may be getting shorter.
