10 Things Nobody Told Me About A Disney World Vacation

7. Transportation Methods

The most popular method of transportation at Walt Disney World is the monorail, of course, but there are other ways to get around the happiest place on earth.  Each resort offers complimentary bus transportation to and from all four parks, both water parks, and Disney Springs.  It’s important to know that the monorail is only offered as a method of transportation to those staying at the Magic Kingdom resorts (with the exception of the Wilderness Lodge and the Fort Wilderness Campgrounds) and to those parking at the Ticket & Transportation center.  Some resorts also have boat rides to some of the parks and Disney springs as well.  This is a great option for experiencing Disney transportation in a different way with spectacular views.

Natalie is an elementary school teacher and a native Floridian who lives and breathes all things Disney. Her love for Disney started at the age of two during her first visit, and has continued to flourish into her adult life. She loves to share her Disney passion with her students and believes Disney is so special because there is no other place to forget about your worries and be a kid again, which is why she refuses to ‘grow up’.
