Our 5 Favorite Poolside Restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort

Beaches and Cream

Florida weather is knows for its hot and sunny days, which are of course perfect for the pool! Disney Resort pools are one of the best places to catch some rays and feel the magic all around you, because after all, you are at the happiest place on earth. While many quick service restaurants allow you to take meals over to the pool areas, there are also some really great places to chow down on some exquisite meals right next to the pool while you have some fun in the sun. Here are 5 favorite poolside restaurants at Walt Disney World.

5. Cabana Bar & Beach Club

Located at the Swan and Dolphin Resort, the Cabana Bar & Beach Club offers stunning views of the pools paired with sophisticated dining. Enjoy an array of appetizers and various entrees including salads, sandwiches, gourmet flatbreads, and much more. The Cabana is open for lunch and transitions to an illuminated bar for dinner. This is by far one of the most chic poolside restaurants on Disney property. It is a great place to relax under beautiful umbrellas while taking in the Florida sunshine and enjoying the festivities of the pool. There are also little private cabanas that can be used for dining or drinks as well. The food is exquisite and is made fresh to order. I often find myself coming to dine here even if I am not staying on this property because the cuisine is that good! Entrees range from $13- $20 per person and Disney Dining Plans are not accepted here.

4. Beaches and Cream

The Yacht and Beach Club is known for its New England charm, and its pool area is one of the most loved by Disney resort guests. Located just beyond the pool is Beaches and Cream Soda shop, a great little cozy restaurant loaded with old-fashioned décor and tasty eats! Devour some of the tastiest sandwiches, salads, burgers, hot dogs, patty melts, onion rings, and crisp French fries, just to name a few. While the entrees are delicious, the most popular item on the menu here is the Kitchen sink. Your jaw will drop when you lay your eyes on 8 scoops of ice cream, every topping you can think of, hot fudge, nuts, and an entire (yes, an entire) can of whipped cream. Beaches and Cream is classified as $ ($14.99 and under per adult) and accepts select Disney Dining Plans.

3. Oasis Bar and Grill

Looking for a tropical way to enjoy cuisine while sipping on drinks at a beautiful pool? Swim on over to the Polynesian Resort where you can catch some rays and enjoy some of the most unique flavor combinations at their poolside restaurant, the Oasis Bar and Grill. Here, guests can select some mouth watering, eclectic choices such as a watermelon/chicken salad, teriyaki glazed burgers, Kalua pork sliders, sashimi tuna, fish tacos, and much more. There are also some of the most delicious adult beverages (which can be made without alcohol as well) and desserts, including the ever-popular Dole Whip. This is a great place to dine while making a splash at one of the most beautiful resorts on property. The Oasis Bar and Grill is classified as $ ($14.99 and under per adult) and accepts select Disney Dining Plans.

2. Courtyard and Beaches Pool Bar

The Grand Floridian is one of the most beloved resorts on the Walt Disney World property. Its Victorian elegance is no match for any other theme and its amenities are exquisite and perfect for those wanting a ‘deluxe’ kind of stay. There are two beautiful pools on the property, the Courtyard Pool and the Beach Pool, hence the two-poolside restaurants, the Courtyard Pool Bar and the Beaches Pool Bar. For those lounging at the Courtyard pool, head on over to the Courtyard Bar where you can enjoy a selection of deli style sandwiches and salads as well as cocktails and various beverages. There are also a few slices of cake, perfect for a sweet treat while splashing a frolic. If you’re enjoying the Beach pool, check out the Beaches Pool Bar, which offers burgers, nuggets, crab cake sandwiches, salads, and chicken sandwiches. There are also pizzas (for the little ones) and a few dessert choices that include brownies, almond fruit tarte, and my personal favorite, the pina colada cupcake. If you want to enjoy a meal from one bar but hang out at the other pool, you can do so because they are within close walking distance. You will not be disappointed with dining here because the views are beautiful and your tummy will be satisfied. Both of these restaurants are classified as $ ($14.99 and under per adult). Beaches Pool bar accepts select Disney Dining Plans, while the Courtyard Bar doesn’t accept any of them.

1. Maji Pool Bar and Uzima Springs Pool Bar

The Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of the most majestic and culturally infused resorts on the Walt Disney World property. The savannahs and inclusion of wild animals is absolutely breathtaking and being able to swim near them is quite the experience. The Kidani Village, one part of the Animal Kingdom Lodge, offers an exquisite pool with a great poolside restaurant, the Maji Pool Bar. Here, guests can munch on entrees such as vegetarian falafel, chili cheese dogs, turkey and barbequed pork sandwiches, salads, and more. This pool bar also offers a few sides like nachos, veggies and fruits, pretzels, and desserts and various beverages. Over at the Jambo House, the main building at the lodge, guests indulge in the Florida sunshine by hanging around the Uzima pool and enjoying a nice meal from the Uzima Springs Pool Bar. Guests can select entrée choices such as burgers, salads, various flatbreads, chicken nuggets, chicken and falafel pita, African stew, and soup selections. There are also a plethora of specialty beverages and non-alcoholic drinks to choose from. Both of these poolside restaurants are great, but they are not within walking distance, so you’ll want to enjoy the pool nearest to where you dine. Both of these restaurants are classified as $ ($14.99 and under per adult). The Maji Pool Bar accepts select Disney Ding Plans, while the Uzima Springs pool bar doesn’t accept any of them.
