A Florida man’s visit to the area near Disney Springs took a dangerous turn yesterday, authorities confirmed. Deputies say the driver, identified as Hennish Bahadur, was caught driving 104 mph in a 40 mph zone, resulting in his arrest under Florida’s recently implemented “Super Speeder” law.

Caught in the Act
According to the arrest report, Bahadur was pulled over near the popular shopping and entertainment district after deputies clocked his excessive speed. Speeding isn’t just a ticket—it can be deadly. No injuries were reported, and Bahadur was taken to the local jail following his arrest.
Disney Springs, where the incident occurred, is a bustling outdoor shopping, dining, and entertainment complex at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando. Known for its mix of high-end retailers, unique boutiques, and a wide array of restaurants and live entertainment, the area draws millions of visitors each year. The heavy pedestrian traffic and family-friendly environment make strict speed enforcement especially important. One parent noted that the presence of children “does not go unnoticed by parents” when such reckless driving occurs.

The Super Speeder Law Enacted
Florida’s Super Speeder law, enacted earlier this year, allows authorities to impose enhanced penalties for extreme speeding violations, including higher fines and potential license suspensions. Officials say the legislation is aimed at curbing dangerous driving behaviors and preventing serious accidents across the state.
Bahadur’s arrest comes as traffic enforcement ramps up near high-traffic destinations like Disney Springs, where large crowds of tourists and locals converge daily. The episode underscores the ongoing efforts by authorities to protect both guests and employees at one of Orlando’s busiest entertainment hubs.

Thankfully, no one was hurt in this incident, but it is a sobering reminder of how dangerous driving recklessly can be. What are your thoughts on this incident? Let us know in the comments below…

On a recent visit to Walt Disney World the holiday was marred by constant failings with the IT system and staff not being able to rectify. Our key cards had to be changed several times due to being refused admission to the parks , unable to open hotel room door and not be able to check out meals which were part of our package. Disney staff we dealt with grumbled about the system and it appeared to me they were very frustrated with the company’s IT system.
This is something that Disney need to urgently rectify as we observed many other guests with similar problems.
In fairness in the end their solution was to give us a written note because of their inability to rectify,
