The Walt Disney Company is choosing to remain mum on the feud that has broken out between Jimmy Kimmel and NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

It seems when you’re as big as Disney, the scandals and drama just keep coming. If the past year wasn’t enough for the Mouse House to deal with, now the company finds itself stuck in between two of its highest-paid stars, and things don’t seem to be letting up anytime soon.

The Pat McAfee Show Stirs the Pot, Causes Drama

Last week, four-time NFL MVP and former New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers took a shot at ABC show host Jimmy Kimmel, saying, “There’s a lot of people, including Jimmy Kimmel, are really hoping [the Epstein list] doesn’t come out.”  Rodgers continued, “I’ll tell you what, if that list comes out, I definitely will be popping some sort of bottle.”

Rodgers linked Kimmel to the Jeffrey Epstein list that is currently being reviewed by the press and is set to be published soon. Now, if that were not shocking enough on its own as a (currently) baseless accusation, what makes the situation worse is that it’s ended up pitting Jimmy Kimmel against Pat McAfee—two stars who both are under the Disney umbrella.

Unfortunately, this wasn’t all. Fox News explained that in the midst of this, another controversy flared up later in the week, between Pat McAfee and longtime ESPN executive Norby Williamson when McAfee called Williamson a “rat” and accused him of “sabotaging” the show.

SPN responded by saying, “No one is more committed to and invested in ESPN’s success than Norby Williamson,” and made clear they would address the matter internally.

Some said that this second “fight” was created to divert attention from the Kimmel-Rodgers drama seeing as McAfee was seen with Williamson at a Colts game after making these comments.

So far, as Fox News reported, the Walt Disney Company has not commented on this whole feud, but the outspoken host of the Pat McAfee Show, McAfee himself, addressed the issue, letting viewers know that NFL star Aaron Rodgers was no longer going to be appearing on his show.

“There will be a lot of people who are happy with that, myself included, to be honest with you,” McAfee said. “The way it ended, it got really loud. I am happy that he’s not going to be in my mentions going forward, which is great news.”
