We are super excited for the announcement of an animated “Nigh at the Museum” movie. We love the original movies and can’t wait to see what magic Disney brings to an animated version.
At Disney’s Investor Day event, it was confirmed by Walt Disney Studios that this movie is happening Night at the Museum comes to Disney+ with a new twist: this time it’s animated. Shawn Levy, who has helped shape the blockbuster franchise as director of the previous films, and is also helming 20th Century Studios’ upcoming “Free Guy,” is on board as a producer.

The 20th Century Studio franchise spawned a number of films, which are available on Disney+ in some countries. In this series of movies, an Egyptian curse causes all of the museum’s animals and statues to spring to life after the building closes.
The new animated “Night at the Museum” film launches on Disney+ in 2021.
