According to the Orlando Sentinel, the deputies responded to requests after someone reported 26-year-old Jorge Diazvega to Park officials for recording an “up skirt video of a female guest” on March 31.

The arrest affidavit reports that the incident occurred inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, specifically the retail store Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities, at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

The Sentinel reports that Diazvega admitted that “He estimated that he had shot over 500 videos of customers inside the park. He said he would later used the videos for “sexual gratification,” an arrest affidavit said. He called the recordings a “guilty pleasure.””

The affidavit states that Diazvega worked at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for at least six years. However, a Walt Disney World spokesperson released a statement Saturday, saying, “The individual does not work for the company.” It is not clear, at this time, how long it has been since his last employment with the company.

Diazvega was arrested and charged with video voyeurism and was released on a $2,500 bond days later. His case is still pending.

Several matters of this story remain unclear, including the age of the women he secretly videoed, as well as the circumstances by which he was caught.

Diazvega is only the latest of a series of former Disney World Cast Members that have been arrested for sex-related crimes. While Disney makes every attempt to maintain the safest possible environment in its Theme Parks, not every team is going to be perfect. Especially when that team consists of tens of thousands of employees. Would-be Guests should be encouraged to report any and all inappropriate Guest and Cast Member behavior to the proper authorities.
