Last week, a popular Disney ear creator started to go viral for all the wrong reasons. Chris Martin runs the site Sparkling Dreamers, a site that sells mouse ears of all different kinds. Some of them are simply colors and jewels. However, there are also a number of ears that are clearly Disney-themed. According to reports, Disney sent a cease and desist letter to Martin for trademark infringement. However, instead of stopping, Martin simply changed his business name and instructed his followers to buy from there.
Recently, Martin went to the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort. He realized that his ticket and reservation had been deleted from the My Disney Experience app and went to Guest Services to ask for help. It was there that Martin was met by managerial Cast Members and security, who presented Martin with a yellow piece of paper and told him that he was banned from Walt Disney World for life. Martin then live-streamed as he was escorted from the Park and back to Disney Springs, where he had parked.
Martin said that Disney had accused him of violating the terms of his Annual Pass by reselling theme park merchandise. He said that he never used his Annual Pass to purchase merchandise and then resell it. However, many of those who commented on his ban said that they knew he resold merchandise, with others saying that they had seen him do it with their own eyes.
Now, we are learning that Martin is not the only member who is banned from visiting a Disney Park. According to a new video posted by Martin, his wife — Hannah Martin — has also been informed that she is not allowed to visit any Disney Park.

Both Martins were shocked that they were banned from not only Walt Disney World Resort, but Disneyland Resort as well. They said that they had purchased Disneyland Annual Passes — called Magic Keys — and did not even use them, so they didn’t understand how they were banned from Disneyland. However, when a person receives a lifetime ban from Disney, it typically applies to all Disney Parks and Resorts, not just the one they were visiting.
Many commenters showed little sympathy for the couple, saying that Disney warned them about what they were doing. Disney repeatedly told them to stop what they were doing, but they kept being public about not caring about what Disney asked. Others were shocked that the couple kept posting about the case, possibly giving Disney more ammunition to use against them.
The couple has hired a lawyer and continues to deny the accusations made against them.
