If you missed the news that a bear was roaming Walt Disney World this week, where have you been?
On September 18, Frontierland, Liberty Square, and parts of Adventureland were closed and nearly a dozen attractions at Walt Disney World Resort’s Magic Kingdom Park were off-limits to guests as Cast Members and Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) officials raced to remove the wild trespasser.
Talk about the “wildest ride in the wilderness!” And with big, wild Disney news comes great comedy – we’ve collated the best Disney bear reactions for your enjoyment!

When the news broke about a bear roaming Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom theme park, the internet responded in great comedic fashion.
FWC officials confirmed that the female black bear was thankfully safely removed and relocated to Ocala National Forest, about 80 miles away from Disney World, and yet the memes and reactions kept on coming. Here are some of our favorites!
Many of the best Disney bear reactions stemmed from Disney fans photoshopping the bear into ride vehicles. X (formerly Twitter) user @paulsala1539372 shared a fun picture of a bear riding the new Disney attraction TRON Lightcycle / Run:

While Disney fan @DadsAndDisney posted a photo of a bear riding the now-closed Disney ride Splash Mountain:

When the Magic Kingdom opened on the morning of the bear encounter, Disney guests were unable to access the following attractions — Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Hall of Presidents, Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise, Country Bear Jamboree, Magic Carpets of Aladdin, Pirate’s Adventure, Pirates of the Caribbean, Swiss Family Treehouse, Tom Sawyer Island, and several stops on the Walt Disney World Railroad.
One X user (@servoisnaked) imagined that the bear was using this to her advantage, claiming that “that bear really did not want to pay for Genie+” while using an image inspired by the children’s book “Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?” by Bill Martin, Jr.:

Another user, @GoAwayGreen, poked fun at the Disney theme park reservation system found since the pandemic at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom, writing:
My understanding is the real problem with the bear in the Magic Kingdom was that he started his day in Epcot and was not supposed to park hop until 1 p.m.
