Today, The Walt Disney Company introduced its latest hotel. The Disney Imagineers transformed the Disney Paradise Pier Hotel into the Pixar Place Hotel at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim. While the hotel looks fantastic and has dozens of new features, one new meet and greet stood out.

Pixar Place Hotel has introduced a Bing Bong meet and greet for the first and only time at a Disney Park or Resort. That’s right, Riley’s imaginary friend from Inside Out (2015) is now available for a meet and greet. So, now you can make some core memories with “the friend who likes to play,” but there’s a catch.
The Bing Bong meet and greet is available on the third floor of the Pixar Place Hotel and is currently only listed as a guest exclusive. So, if you want to bring your imaginary friend to life, you better book your stay at the hotel now.
Bing Bong joins Joy and Sadness from Inside Out at character meet and greets. Joy and Sadness were available at EPCOT at the Walt Disney World Resort, but since EPCOT’s transformation, only Joy has been available.
This is the only Disney Resort with a Bing Bong meet and greet.

Beyond Bing Bong, the Pixar Place Hotel has several cool features. Joe Gardner from Pixar’s Soul (2020) plays live at the new hotel. Nearly all the updated guest rooms incorporate nods to Pixar films, including headboards with concept art from Pixar movies. There is also a reimagined gift shop, Stor-E, an hommage to Wall-E (2008).

Pete Docter, Chief Creative Officer at Pixar Animation Studios, said:
At Pixar, our mission is to tell great stories. And nothing is more exciting than when we see those stories come to life in Disney parks. Pixar Place Hotel at the Disneyland Resort is the perfect example; it’s like walking into a world of Pixar. It’s truly immersive, and we’re thrilled to have collaborated with Walt Disney Imagineering to make such an experience possible for guests.
The reimagining of the Pixar Place Hotel comes as Disneyland is moving forward with its $2.5 billion expansion, DisneylandForward. Last week, Disney teased some of the possible attractions coming to the Disneyland Resort with this expansion, including rides and attractions based on Black Panther (2018), Coco (2017), and Tangled (2010).
But that expansion is coming in the future. For now, Disneyland and Pixar Place Hotel guests spend time with their beloved Inside Out imaginary friend.
We will continue to update this story at Disney Fanatic.
