Over the last 100 years, the Walt Disney Company has solidified its status as one of the biggest names in entertainment in the world—and one of the primary ways it has done this is through the theme park business. The Disney theme parks are some of the best in the world, whether that’s domestically with the Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort or globally with Disneyland Paris, Shanghai Disney Resort, Hong Kong Disneyland or Tokyo Disney Resort.

However, recently, the question arose of what future archaeologists would find if they dug up any Disney park, and the debate that ensued was one any Disney Fanatic would appreciate.

One commented, “Are you suggesting the Egyptians have built the greatest theme park in human history?” echoing the sentiments of many fans who posited that perhaps the Ancient Egyptians once built a giant theme park, based on cats, and we have today interpreted that as a cat-worshipping civilization.

Others highlighted Disney’s money, explaining that they believed Disney wouldn’t let that happen. “They will not. Disney has so much money that I will not be surprised if they eventually have a space amusement park.”

Many others took the post more seriously, also highlighting how the internet would not allow this kind of assumption to spread and would clear up the actual context of the Central Florida Disney resort.
