‘Bluey’ Franchise Confirmed for Disney Parks, Multiple Attractions Announced

Guests visiting Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort over the next several years can expect an expanding lineup of experiences, and now one of the most popular family brands worldwide is part of those plans. Bluey, the animated series from Australia that captured audiences across generations, is preparing to step inside both resorts with new offerings beginning in 2026.

Disney’s long-term park growth includes everything from Magic Kingdom updates to major changes at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Among the most visible projects is the redesign of DinoLand U.S.A. into the Tropical Americas, which will introduce attractions based on Encanto and Indiana Jones. While this transformation unfolds, Animal Kingdom will also welcome the Heeler family.

Disney Parks Blog confirmed that in summer 2026, families can take part in a new experience at Conservation Station. “Beginning in summer 2026 at Walt Disney World Resort, you’ll be able to take a fun excursion to Conservation Station in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, where you can play and dance with Bluey and Bingo!” the blog shared. The encounter invites guests to enjoy time with the sisters, pose for photos, and enjoy activities inspired by the show.

Bluey’s expanded presence at the Disney parks follows the original announcement in 2024, when the series was confirmed to be joining Disney Experiences worldwide. Josh D’Amaro, Chairman of Disney Experiences, described the significance of the partnership, saying, “Bluey has become a household name for families around the world, and we are thrilled to bring her story to life in new ways.” He added that watching children create memories with Bluey across parks and cruises would be a highlight for the company.

Meanwhile, Disneyland Resort prepares for its own Heeler adventure. Beginning March 22, 2026, Fantasyland Theatre will debut “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!”—a live offering scheduled to run throughout the year. Announced in the 2026 Disneyland Resort calendar, the experience transforms the theatre into the schoolyard featured in the show.

During the day, Bluey and Bingo will appear with performers and musicians who recreate games, scenes, and songs recognizable to fans. Musical numbers link directly to the show’s most well-known moments, including favorites such as “Keepy Uppy.” Kids can move through a Gnome Village, explore a Fairy Garden, and encounter characters like the Grannies, Chattermax, and Unicorse. Troubadour Tavern will feature treats tied to the animated world.

Bluey’s influence continues to reach new audiences. Since its premiere in 2018, the series has expanded through Disney+ and BBC Studios to dozens of countries. In 2024, it tallied more than 55 billion minutes streamed in the U.S., placing it at the top of all shows that year. Its format—short episodes centered on imaginative play and family connection—has made it a strong presence in children’s entertainment and a surprise favorite among adults.

In Australia, Bluey’s success includes repeated viewing milestones on ABC iview and a growing roster of live productions, merchandise, and interactive experiences. Its representation of everyday family life and relatable humor have played a major role in its appeal.

With the series continuing to reach global audiences, its partnership with Disney parks opens a new chapter for families who enjoy the show together.

Thomas Hitchen

When he’s not thinking about the Magic Kingdom, Thomas is usually reading a book, becoming desperately obsessed with fictional characters, or baking something delicious (his favorite is chocolate cake -- to bake and to eat). He's a dreamer and grew up on Mulan saving the world, Jim Hawkins soaring through the stars, and Padmé Amidala fighting a Nexu. At the Parks, he loves to ride Everest, stroll down Main Street with an overstuffed pin lanyard around his neck, and eat as many Mickey-shaped ice creams as possible. His favorite character is Han Solo (yes, he did shoot first), and his favorite TV show is Buffy the Vampire Slayer except when it's One Tree Hill. He loves sandy beach walks, forest hikes, and foodie days out in the Big City. Thomas lives in England, UK, with his fiancée, baby, and their dog, a Border Collie called Luna.
