Pandora: The World of Avatar opened at Disney’s Animal Kingdom on May 27, 2017. The immersive land, inspired by James Cameron’s acclaimed 2009 film, has captured guests’ imaginations through its breathtaking landscapes and attractions. It features several key rides, including the highly popular Avatar: Flight of Passage, where guests experience the thrill of flying on the back of a banshee, and Na’vi River Journey, which takes visitors on a beautiful journey through Pandora’s bioluminescent rainforest.

Pandora had more to offer than just attractions. Satu’li Canteen, a quick-service dining spot, serves up beautifully presented and delicious meals like braised beef, chili-garlic shrimp, cheeseburger pods, and fried tofu, among others.
Nearby, the drink stand Pongu Pongu features the highly popular Night Blossom beverage, which adults 21 and older can enhance with a splash of rum.
When Satu’li Canteen first launched, it provided breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. However, within a few months, the breakfast menu was phased out, and the restaurant shifted its focus solely to lunch and dinner.

But after a seven-year hiatus, breakfast will be back at Satu’li Canteen beginning November 1! The restaurant will be open to regular guests when the theme park opens — typically 8 a.m. It will also be open during early morning hours for deluxe resort guests.
While not extensive, the menu offers some truly mouthwatering options.
Slow-roasted Pork Shoulder Potato Hash – made with Chorizo Sausage and Charred Onion Sauce
Frittata and Beef – Vegetable-Goat Cheese Frittata with Wood-fired Beef tossed in Chimichurri

The Pork Shoulder Potato Hash, Cinnamon French Toast, and Frittata with Beef are all returning favorites from the original breakfast menu, while the Tropical Pandoran Forest Fruits is a new addition.
It’s unclear whether this breakfast menu will be a permanent offering, or if Disney is testing it to gauge long-term interest from guests.
Breakfast options at Animal Kingdom are somewhat limited. Visitors can find pastries and breakfast sandwiches at Creature Comforts.
Other choices include Kusafiri Bakery and Coffee Shop, Tamu Tamu Refreshments, Isle of Java, Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafés, and Pongu Pongu, but like Creature Comforts, they mainly serve pastries, cinnamon rolls, and egg sandwiches.
