Adult Pushes Child off of Car at Disneyland California

Last week, an adult Disney California Adventure Park guest reportedly pushed a child off a Halloween-themed vehicle in Cars Land. An eyewitness account described the scene, expressing horror and disbelief at the act of aggression toward the child.

The young Disney Park guest was climbing on one of the Cars Land Halloween prop vehicles when a so-called “Disney Adult” approached, hoping to take a photograph with the seasonal decoration. Instead of asking the child to move or waiting until they moved on, the adult Disneyland Resort guest shoved the child off the car and out of the way.

Redditor u/sleestakarmy witnessed the incident and said it made them desire never to return to Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, or Downtown Disney.

“This was my first and probably last time I will set foot in there,” the Disney Park guest wrote. “Disney Adults are the most self-entitled assholes.”

“Disney Adults” Beyond the Cars Land Incident

The term “Disney Adults” refers to a demographic of grown-up fans who exhibit a profound enthusiasm for Disney culture, theme parks, and characters. While most of these individuals engage positively with the theme parks, a minority has garnered a negative reputation through disruptive actions such as the recent Cars Land incident.

Earlier this year, one self-identified Disney Adult said social media made it harder for him to continue expressing his love for everything Mickey Mouse.

“Yes, Disneyland, Magic Kingdom, and all of the other Disney Parks are supposed to be places for ‘the young at heart’ and offer a day of entertaining escapism,” the Disney Adult wrote. “But they are also meant to be sources of inspiration to help each guest go home and pursue their own Happily Ever After. That inspiration feels lost among the ‘manchildren’ now found in the parks.”
