“Celebrate Gospel!” Returns to Disneyland in 2022

Live entertainment is returning to Disney parks around the world, and we love to see it! The Disney Parks Blog just shared the news that additional live entertainment is set to return to the Disneyland Resort in 2022, and we cannot wait!

The returning entertainment Guests can expect to take in early next year follows this holiday season’s packed lineup of special events and performances both at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure. In Disneyland, we have already seen the return of the Disneyland Band and A Christmas Fantasy Parade, as well as Believe…In Holiday Magic, all just in time to make this holiday season even more magical.

At Disney California Adventure, the holiday season has brought along with it the fan-favorite event, Disney ¡Viva Navidad! a musical celebration in the streets of the park, as well as “Mickey’s Happy Holidays.” Earlier this year, Disney California Adventure Cast Members were also excited to welcome back the return of the Disney Junior Dance Party.

Moving on to 2022, an expanded version of one of the parks pre-pandemic events will be debuting for Guests in February. “Celebrate Gospel!” is a musical celebration returning soon to Disneyland Park. The performance is set to include musical sets by live choirs, each one unique from the next with their own styles and inspirations coming to light through their music.

If you have seen “Celebrate Gospel!” in the past while visiting Disneyland, be sure to note the new location for this returning event. When “Celebrate Gospel” returns to the park in 2022, the show will take place at the Fantasyland Theater. “Celebrate Gospel” is performed select dates throughout the month of February, so be sure to check Disneyland’s official website ahead of your visit to confirm times if the show is on your must-do list.
