A familiar Walt Disney World dining spot is about to return.
For many guests, food is a major part of a Disney World trip. The resort has hundreds of places to eat and drink across its theme parks, hotels, and Disney Springs, ranging from quick-service counters and character meals to lounges and full-service restaurants.
Those options are also changing quickly. Disney is preparing several new dining locations tied to upcoming park expansions, while other restaurants have temporarily closed for refurbishment or construction.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom will add a large quick-service restaurant as part of its Tropical Americas project, which is replacing DinoLand U.S.A. and will eventually include attractions inspired by Encanto and Indiana Jones.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios is also getting new restaurants with Monstropolis. Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza and Harryhausen’s are among the additions planned for the new Monsters, Inc. area.
Harryhausen’s will be a full restaurant with an original menu and an Audio-Animatronic sushi chef. Portions of Monstropolis are expected to open in 2027.
Before those new locations arrive, however, Disney is bringing back one of its existing dining spots after a months-long closure.
Saratoga Springs Lounge Gets a Reopening Date
The Turf Club Lounge at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa will reopen on August 31.
Disney closed the lounge in May while work took place around The Turf Club area. The company had previously said the project would continue through August.
The reopening date was confirmed by Disney Parks on X.

The lounge sits near Disney’s Lake Buena Vista Golf Course and offers a more casual alternative to the neighboring Turf Club Bar & Grill.
Guests can order drinks and shareable food while taking in views from the patio.
Disney’s current menu suggests the lounge will return with many of the same dishes available before the closure.
That includes the Turf Club Burger and Crispy Chicken Wings, which come with a choice of Buffalo or garlic-Parmesan sauce.
Other options include Sweet-and-Spicy Brussels Sprouts and an Onion Ring Tower served with Saratoga sauce and horseradish sauce.
The drinks menu includes a Mint Julep made with Woodford Reserve bourbon, Captain’s Mai Tai, sangria, and a New York Sour.
The New York Sour is made with Widow Jane Bourbon and finished with a Merlot float.
For Saratoga Springs guests, the reopening will restore another on-site option for food and drinks after several months of reduced availability.
The rest of The Turf Club complex, however, is not returning just yet.
The Main Restaurant Will Stay Closed Longer
The Turf Club Bar & Grill is expected to remain closed through late September.
That means Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa will still be without its main table-service restaurant after the lounge reopens.
Guests do have several other places to eat around the resort in the meantime.
The Artist’s Palette is the main quick-service location at Saratoga Springs, serving sandwiches, salads, pizzas, breakfast items, and other casual dishes.
The Paddock Grill is another quick-service option near the Paddock Pool. Its menu includes burgers, salads, and sandwiches.
Guests can also visit Chip ’n’ Dale’s Café near Disney’s Lake Buena Vista Golf Course.
The kiosk serves deli-style sandwiches, snacks, and drinks and can be used by guests even if they are not playing golf.
The golf course itself is currently closed for renovations and is expected to remain unavailable through October 2026.
Saratoga Springs has undergone a number of updates in recent years, including room refurbishments and other resort improvements.
The return of The Turf Club Lounge is a smaller change, but one that gives guests another option without needing to travel to Disney Springs or another resort for drinks and food.
