Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort are continuing to add more theme Park attractions exclusively to Genie+ Lightning Lane, and now two more are joining the Lightning Lane lineup! Journalist Scott Gustin has revealed that as of March 11, the Disney World Resort Festival of Fantasy Parade will be a Genie+ Lightning Lane event in the Magic Kingdom theme Park.
In addition, the Disney Stars at Red Carpet Dreams character meet and greet opportunity will switch from an Individual Lightning Lane selection attraction to a Genie+ Lightning Lane attraction (in the Disney Park Hollywood Studios) as of March 11.

Frozen Ever After in the Disney Park EPCOT Credit: Disney
Three other attractions that were added to this exclusive access recently and changed from Individual Lightning Lane selection attractions are Frozen Ever After (found within EPCOT, in the Norway Pavilion within the World Showcase), Space Mountain, and Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. Expedition Everest: Legend of the Forbidden Mountain might also become an exclusive Genie+ Lightning Lane attraction once the roller coaster ride reopens.

The complimentary Disney Genie service and the add-on Genie+ that is available for purchase during Disney Resort vacations have both received some very negative feedback from Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort Guests, but they have still been a financial success for the Walt Disney Company despite any negative user experiences reported by Disney Guests.

The Festival of Fantasy parade is a popular Magic Kingdom parade that has only just returned (albeit with less floats and performers and without one of its most iconic songs), and Disney Stars at Red Carpet Dreams is a Hollywood Studios character meet and greet event allowing Guests to interact with classic Disney characters, or a character cavalcade of “Disney stars”, in an Old Hollywood setting.
