There are numerous kinds of Disney experiences one can enjoy. Whether that’s visiting the Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Resort with their Theme Parks—think like Magic Kingdom Park or Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park at the former or Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park at the latter—or a cruise with the Disney Cruise Line vessels like Disney Dream, Disney Wish or the upcoming Disney Treasure. The Walt Disney Company is always trying to find new ways to reach its audiences, and one of its other coveted Disney experiences is Adventures by Disney.
Adventures by Disney provides guided tours and family-friendly vacations to destinations around the world, with an emphasis on storytelling; it provides VIP access to popular attractions and cultural sites. Their destinations include North America, Europe, Asia, South America, Africa, and Australia, and each tour is led by Disney-trained Adventure Guides, who provide insider knowledge and local perspective for each expedition.
Adventures by Disney also offers an Arctic expedition, and Disney shared an exciting announcement about their upcoming trip. Disney Parks Blog took to their platform to share former Disney Imagineer Joe Rohde has been invited by Adventures by Disney to accompany Guests on an expedition cruise to the Arctic in July.
From July 10—19, 2023, Rohde will join the Arctic Expedition Cruise and “share insights into his incredible 40-year career, including how travel played a significant role in his creative process designing Disney properties worldwide.”
As the article shares, the expedition takes Guests through the Svalbard archipelago glaciers and fjords, visiting Longyearbyen, the northernmost settlement in the world, with a route that has breathtaking landscapes of icebergs, ice floes, and the Arctic tundra. Guests will also have a chance to hike or take small boat excursions through the glacial waters and spot wildlife in their natural habitat.
