NEW: Disney Announces Holiday Hard-Ticket Event at Hollywood Studios

It may be halfway to the holidays, but Disney is getting ready to deck the Hollywood halls.

Disney Guests can’t get enough of the world-famous spotlights surrounding Grauman’s Chinese Theater, and Disney is turning up the voltage for an exclusive new holiday event at Hollywood Studios. With a few traditions and many new festivities, this glam yuletide event will be one for the books.

Disney’s Jollywood Nights

Picture this: a decked-out glitzy affair where jolly good times meet Hollywood glam. Thanks to a ticketed nighttime event at Disney’s Hollywood Studios this season, you can immerse yourself in a sparkly spectacular with appearances from the Muppets, singalongs with Mickey and friends, exclusive attractions, holiday treats, and more.

Here’s what’s coming down the chimney for Jollywood Nights:

• Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy host a live holiday party at Theater of the Stars
• A hint at an “INSPIRED” singalong at Hyperion Theater
• Two entertainment events: a jazzy jaunt at The Hollywood Brown Derby and a spirited stint at The Hollywood Tower Hotel Courtyard
• The return of the abominable-snowman-sized show with projections, fireworks, and special effects called  “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!”

According to Disney Parks Blog, the Jollywood Nights event offers Guests starlight soirees on the following Hollywood Studios attractions:

Slinky Dog Dash, Rock N’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, and more.

Photo Ops and Tasty Treats

No holiday party is complete without Christmas trees—ones that you can eat, of course. Inspired by the symbolic Echo Lake Christmas Tree, the Christmas Tree Cookie stack is one of many exclusive yummy yuletide offerings to chow down on. Craft cocktails, Mini Funnel Cakes, and Spicy Korean Chicken are all on the menu for Jollywood Nights.

With all this holiday magic, you might need proof that it happened, and Disney has you covered with special holiday-themed Magic Shots and two new Disney PhotoPass experiences. Digital downloads of your Disney PhotoPass images are included in the ticket cost!

Exclusive character meet-and-greets round out the festivities with a Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and iconic character gathering in Animation Courtyard. Echo Lake will feature photo ops with Powerline Max, Phineas, and Ferb. Guests can also switch into holiday mode with Edna from the Incredibles with some of her super friends.

Ticket and Event Details

As a limited-capacity holiday event, Jollywood Nights tickets go on sale for Guests of select Walt Disney World Resorts, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels, and Shades of Green starting June 29. General tickets can be purchased beginning July 6 on the Walt Disney World website. Prices range from $159 to $179 per person, and the party dates are as follows:

•  November: 11,18, 20, 27, 29
•  December: 4, 6,16,18, 20
