Whether you plan a Disney cruise for a short time or a long time, you’ll be in for a Merrytime this holiday season.

While some folks embrace the snowy weather in the winter, others prefer white-sand beaches. Disney Guests can get the best of both worlds thanks to the Disney Cruise Line. With Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy dressed to the nines in all-new holiday garb, festive food, carolers, and all-new performances, Disney sets sail on a Christmas cruise for the books.

“Deck” the Halls Disney Style

Disney Parks Blog shared the unique holiday entertainment Disney is rolling out for cruise line Guests later this year. With a very merry tree lighting ceremony on board, Goofy, Mickey, and Minnie will sing holiday tunes while the crowd gears up for a Christmas countdown to a tree lighting in the ship’s atrium. While Disney characters tend to steal the show, Kris Kringle will be the star appearance at the end of the ceremony.

Although a decked-out Christmas tree epitomizes a holiday celebration, the party doesn’t stop there. The Disney Cruise line is debuting Mickey and Minnie’s Holiday Party later this year, featuring a sampling of classic and new holiday songs. Guests will be invited to the upper deck while Mickey and Minnie sleigh a celebration of friends and family.

An All-New Spot to Board a Santa Claus Cruise

The Disney Dream will whisk Disney Guests on a tropical holiday extravaganza from a brand-new spot in South Florida: Fort Lauderdale. With four- and five-night Very Merrytime cruises to choose from, the Dream sets sail to the western Caribbean and Bahamas.

For classic Disney Cruise Line fans, the Disney Wish takes off from Port Canaveral to the Bahamas and the Caribbean. On the west coast, Guests can hop aboard the Disney Magic from San Diego to Baja and the Mexican Riviera. Another option for Disney Cruisers is available in Galveston, Texas, with Santa Claus cruises shipping off to the western Caribbean.
