Disney Cruise Line Update: Marvel Day at Sea to Return in 2023

Disney Cruise Line has been welcoming back lots of characters (and some new ones, too!) this week, and now we are excited to share the news that Marvel Day at Sea will return to select sailings in 2023!

This year’s cruises that feature Marvel Day at Sea events are already out sailing through the Caribbean. For Guests looking to book cruises with Disney for next year, Marvel Day at Sea is returning and will include some all-new features. For the first time, Guests cruising out of Miami for select voyages aboard the Disney Dream will be able to experience Marvel Super Heroes and Villains.

Marvel Day at Sea is truly the ultimate event for Marvel fans, especially since it can be experienced aboard cruises out of Florida where finding Marvel at Walt Disney World is quite the challenge. The day is really a combination of characters and storylines from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel comics, and animated series. This one-day event includes top-notch entertainment plus character sightings and themed activities the whole family can participate in together.

Marvel Day at Sea is featured on select cruises aboard the Disney Dream with ports of call including Cozumel, Mexico, Grand Cayman, and Castaway Cay, Disney Cruise Line’s private island. While onboard, Guests will also have access to other Disney Cruise Line events and amenities including Broadway-style musical productions, excellent restaurants, recreational activities, and Disney’s incredible Guest service.

Per the Disney Parks Blog, itineraries for 2023 that include Marvel Day at Sea are as follows:

• Departing Jan. 16, Jan. 30, Feb. 13 and Feb. 27, 2023, the Western Caribbean itinerary includes a stop at Cozumel, Mexico and Disney’s private island in the Bahamas, Castaway Cay.
• Departing Jan. 7, Jan. 21, Feb. 4, Feb. 18 and March 4, 2023, the Western Caribbean itinerary includes Georgetown, Grand Cayman and Castaway Cay.
