Disney has confirmed new restrictions that will affect guests visiting this weekend.
Most Disney theme parks remain open well into the evening, giving visitors several hours to experience attractions after sunset. However, not every ride or themed area necessarily operates until the park's official closing time.

At Disneyland in California, sections of Fantasyland can temporarily close to accommodate fireworks, while Mickey's Toontown has also faced early closures for nighttime entertainment. Private events can impose further restrictions, with certain areas reserved exclusively for invited guests.
A similar change is now approaching at Hong Kong Disneyland, where visitors will be unable to enter three entire lands during the final hours of operation on two consecutive days.
Three Popular Disney Lands Will Close at 6:30 p.m.
Hong Kong Disneyland has announced that Toy Story Land, Mystic Point, and Grizzly Gulch will close at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 10, and Sunday, October 11.
The restrictions are being introduced to accommodate a private event, according to Disney's official operating calendar. The company has not disclosed further details about the event or who will be attending.
On Saturday, the park is scheduled to operate from 10 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. This means guests will lose access to the affected lands two hours before the rest of Hong Kong Disneyland closes.
The changes will temporarily remove several popular attractions from the evening lineup, starting with Mystic Manor, the centerpiece of Mystic Point.
Opened in 2013, Mystic Manor is Hong Kong Disneyland's alternative to the Haunted Mansion attractions found at Disney's American resorts. Rather than featuring ghosts, the trackless dark ride follows an enchanted music box that brings an explorer's collection of artifacts to life.
Grizzly Gulch will also become inaccessible at 6:30 p.m. The American frontier-themed land is home to Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars, a roller coaster that travels through a mining town and features a backward section.
Toy Story Land, meanwhile, contains three attractions inspired by Pixar's animated franchise: RC Racer, Slinky Dog Spin, and Toy Soldier Parachute Drop.
The land opened in November 2011, several years before Walt Disney World introduced its own Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios in June 2018.

The two versions offer different attractions. Florida's larger offering features Slinky Dog Dash, Alien Swirling Saucers, and Toy Story Mania!, alongside themed restaurants such as Roundup Rodeo BBQ and Woody's Lunch Box.
Hong Kong's version instead focuses on carnival-style rides, including the 88-foot-tall RC Racer. It also lacks the elaborate dining options found at Walt Disney World.
Hong Kong Disneyland is preparing to expand the land, however. In August, Disney announced a new Pixar theatrical production scheduled to debut in the first half of 2027, featuring characters including Woody, Jessie, Buzz Lightyear, and Rex.
For now, visitors wanting to experience all three affected lands on October 10 or 11 will need to complete their visits before the 6:30 p.m. cutoff.
What Will Remain Open During the Restrictions?
Five of Hong Kong Disneyland's eight themed lands will remain accessible after 6:30 p.m. These include Main Street, U.S.A., Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, Adventureland, and World of Frozen.
Major attractions outside the restricted areas include Frozen Ever After, Wandering Oaken's Sliding Sleighs, Hyperspace Mountain, Iron Man Experience, and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
Disney is also keeping several entertainment offerings on its schedule. On Saturday, Mickey and the Wondrous Book is due to perform at 7 p.m., while the Halloween production Let's Get Wicked has a final showing at 7:30 p.m.
Playhouse in the Woods, an interactive show featuring characters from Frozen, is scheduled to operate until 7 p.m. The final performance of Uninvited! A Villains Takeover Party is listed for 6:30 p.m.
Earlier entertainment includes Mickey's Happy Halloween Adventure and Moana: A Homecoming Celebration, giving visitors additional opportunities to experience the park's seasonal offerings before the evening closures begin.
The affected dates also coincide with Hong Kong Disneyland's 20th anniversary celebrations, which have brought new entertainment to the resort, including the Friendtastic! Parade and an expanded version of the Momentous nighttime spectacular.
Another significant closure will follow immediately after the weekend.
Starting Monday, October 12, the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel will temporarily close in its entirety for what Disney describes as “comprehensive enhancements” to its facilities, services, and guest experience.
The 400-room hotel opened alongside Hong Kong Disneyland in 2005. Refurbishment work began in its west wing earlier this year, but the upcoming closure will extend across the entire property.
