Last April, a video started making the rounds on social media. The video showed a group of adults relaxing in a fountain in the France pavilion at EPCOT. Now, these people were not just putting their feet in the water, which you still shouldn’t do. No, they had their entire bodies in the fountain and were soaking and relaxing like it was a hot tub. Other guests were seen in the video walking by the group, stunned at their behavior. Online commenters were also shocked and disgusted by the idiotic behavior exhibited by the adults.

Well, we are now learning that the behavior of the guests affected the children they were at Walt Disney World Resort with. According to sources, the adults were parents of a group of cheerleaders from Canada who were in Orlando for Cheerleading Worlds 2023.
People were able to identify the guests because of the matching shirts they were wearing. Apparently, due to the abhorrent behavior exhibited by their parents, the group was disqualified from the Worlds competition and could no longer compete. We learned this from a source who wished to remain anonymous due to her association with the cheerleading community.
Unfortunately, that is not where the story ends.
Since so many people were able to identify the group as Perfect Storm Athletics from Edmonton, Canada, they have taken to the internet to troll the teens.
Remember, it was not the teenagers who were misbehaving, it was their parents. In fact, things got so bad, that the team had to limit who could comment on their posts.
Perfect Storm Athletics also said that they are disappointed in what they saw in the video and are looking into the incident. Here is what they said in a statement:
We are aware of this situation and have spoken to the individuals involved. We absolutely do not condone this behavior and are very disappointed. We will be addressing our code of conduct forms these parents signed about behaviour involving anything Perfect Storm Athletics is a part of.
Not only should the parents have followed the code of conduct set forth by Perfect Storm Athletics, but they also should have followed Disney’s code of conduct for guests. Disney’s rules do not specifically state that guests need to stay out of the fountains, but it does say that guests are prohibited from engaging in activities that could put themselves or a cast member in a dangerous situation.

So sad. First off, the parents pulling off this crap. 2nd, trolls going after the kids who had little to do with it. Grow up, peeps.
Not at all surprised! Cheer moms were a nightmare! They would show up at noon and try to book a party of 25 at Prime Time Cafe in Guest Relations. When they were told that reservations for parties of that size needed to be booked in advance, they would throw tantrums worthy of ant toddler. At Downtown Disney, invariably, cheerleaders would be brought into security for shoplifting. The moms would show up to Guest Relations to find their little darlings and eviscerate the poor castmembers because their sweet angel would never do such a thing. They had money, and didn’t need to shoplift. Invariably, after meeting with security, they were found to have merchandise in their purses or backpacks, and no receipt to prove it was purchased.
PARENTS ARE SUPPOSED TO SET AN EXAMPLE FOR THEIR KIDS!!!! Not in this case they should have been escorted out of the parks never to return this was such stupid actions from ADULTS (tourists) that are causing so much chaos all over the Parks which it’s just uncalled for not needed and definitely not acceptable this needs to STOP NOW

As a resident of Florida there is no shortage of classless Canadians all winter long. They feel they are entitled and we should be happy they are spending their money here. We would rather you go someone else. I witnessed a Canadian couple both complain about their steaks at a restaurant after eating most of them. They badgered the manager to remove it from their checks and then had the balls to ask for a doggie bag. The manager said if it was so bad not to pay for why do you want to take it? I could no longer remain silent, I proceeded to say everything to them the manager couldn’t.
