Disney Live Entertainment has been posting lots of audition opportunities for those hoping to perform for Guests at the Walt Disney World Resort, and one of the latest audition searches is for vocalists for one of the resort’s most popular shows.
Festival of the Lion King at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is routinely praised as a fan-favorite live performance at the Walt Disney World Resort. The show takes the story of The Lion King (1994) and takes the classic characters and renowned music into a festive musical celebration performed daily right in the heart of Africa’s Harambe Village.
The show includes a variety of performers including singers, dancers, gymnasts, aerial performers and even a fire performer, plus puppets and character performers of our favorite animal characters from the film like Timon, Pumbaa and Simba. If you happen to be a vocalist passionate for the music of The Lion King, you will want to check out the latest Disney Live Entertainment job posting.
The job posting is for lead vocalist positions that sing the show stopping songs in the musical and essentially host the celebration. Per the Disney Auditions website, these are the roles Disney is currently seeking for Festival of the Lion King:
