The Walt Disney Company’s relationship with Apple is one that some might thank Disney CEO Bob Iger for. In his book The Ride of a Lifetime, Disney CEO Bob Iger talked a lot about how he managed to secure that partnership, delving into his relationship with the late Steve Jobs, the co-founder and former CEO of Apple. The Steve Jobs-Bob Iger bromance is legendary. Iger starting Disney’s relationship with Apple led to a long string of collaborations, with a notable one being the merging of Disney with Pixar Animation Studios.
Apple & Disney
The relationship is so well documented that there have been persistent rumors that Apple might merge with the Walt Disney Company altogether, creating what will certainly become one of the most powerful corporations in history. It’s a merger that would be worth a lot too.
However, while there is no official word on any forthcoming Apple-Disney merger, we do have word on Disney’s latest collaboration with the tech giant.
Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Iger is speaking at the 2023 Apple Worldwide Developers Conference, and he just revealed some incredibly exciting news. Journalist Scott Gustint took to Twitter to share the update:
