Magic Kingdom guests were treated to a unique and unplanned moment this week during one of the park’s daily performances. While Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade made its way down Main Street, U.S.A., two very familiar faces stepped into the role of spectators rather than performers.
According to a report by Kenny the Pirate, Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen from Disney’s The Princess and the Frog were spotted enjoying the performance from the crowd—just like the guests around them. The pair could be seen dancing and interacting with characters like Miguel from Coco. The moment was captured in a video posted to Instagram by @mouseketeer_for_life, who shared, “We thought we stopped to watch the Adventure Friends cavalcade, but found ourselves just watching Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen.”
The Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade is one of the regular entertainment offerings at Magic Kingdom Park, currently showing twice daily at 10:30 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. As noted on the official Walt Disney World website, “Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade features the most Characters of any cavalcade to date, including Bruno from Encanto and Miguel from Coco—plus so many more!” The route travels from Frontierland through Liberty Square and down Main Street, U.S.A.
Guests can also spot appearances from other characters such as Pocahontas, Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, Marie, Baloo and King Louie from The Jungle Book, and Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps from Zootopia.

While spontaneous interactions like this are rare at Walt Disney World Resort, they’re more common at Disneyland Resort, where characters often roam the park outside of scheduled locations.
Meanwhile, another nighttime addition is bringing fresh excitement to the evenings at Magic Kingdom. Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away, the park’s newest nighttime parade, debuted in late July. The show, presented along Main Street, U.S.A. and other areas of the park, runs at 9 and 11 p.m. nightly. However, it does not operate during hard-ticketed events such as Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party or Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
Of course, no day at Magic Kingdom is complete without a spectacular finish. The Happily Ever After fireworks show remains a favorite and was brought back after the park’s 50th anniversary celebrations came to a close.
