Many Walt Disney World Resort fans are clamoring for the return of the popular Hollywood Studios nighttime show Fantasmic!, and journalist Scott Gustin has just revealed that there is even more reason to anticipate the show’s return later in 2022!

Apparently, many fan-favorite Disney princesses are going to be getting special attention in the upgraded version of the show. There will also be plenty of new technological features to show off during the show (which isn’t surprising since Disneyland’s president just spoke to D23 about how important technology is to the Disney Parks), and these snazzy technological effects will highlight the Disney heroines’ “heroic moments”!

The beloved Disney character Aladdin will be in the show now, but at least four Disney princesses are also definitely being added to the show’s roster. Warrior princess Mulan, ice queen Elsa, Native American heroine Pocahontas, and Polynesian voyager Moana are now going to be showing up “in heroic moments”, according to Scott Gustin’s Tweet shown below.

Since Fantasmic! is already such a popular attraction, and Disney princesses are growing more and more popular as the princesses become more and more independent, many Walt Disney World Resort Guests will be please to see these new additions to the lineup.

Which other Disney princesses would you like to see added to this nighttime show: Raya, perhaps? Frozen queen Anna doesn’t have the same powerful standalone presence as her sister Elsa does, so it’s not surprising that Elsa has been added alone, but maybe Anna will make an appearance in the show too!

Are you excited for Fantasmic’s return? Do you prefer the Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, or the Animal Kingdom over Hollywood Studios?
