A Disney producer has promised that the upcoming movie, Frozen 3 is going to be “amazing,” a needed reprieve for The Walt Disney Company after a disastrous year.

Disney really needs a win. For a year now, the company has been struggling to create a particularly successful movieā€”a sad reality for the company’s centenary. This is not for lack of trying on Disney’s partā€”the company released some films that should have made waves; unfortunately, that didn’t happen.

Disney Producer Promises Frozen 3Ā Will Be Amazing

In an exclusive interview with outletĀ The Direct, Peter Del Vechoā€”the producer of the first two FrozenĀ movies as well asĀ Disney’s latest animated feature Wish, shared his thoughts and some interesting insights into the upcoming FrozenĀ movie.

Del Vecho shared, ā€œLook, we only do sequels if we believe there’s enough story to tell. They’re working on it up in development, I’m focused on Wish [2023]. But it is exciting what they’re working on. I will say anything that you read about it in the public, we haven’t said anything about it. So it’s all conjecture, but I trust that it’s going to be amazing.”

Del Vecho clearly is still keeping his cards close to his chest, but it appears there’s a lot to look forward to with the upcoming sequel. It is worth noting Frozen 2Ā remains the most successful Disney Animation film to date, having earned a whopping $1.45 billion at the globalĀ box office: a feat that has proved challenging for Disney off-late.

To that end, it’s unsurprising that Disney CEO Bob Iger not only announced a Frozen 3Ā earlier this year but also aĀ FrozenĀ 4. The films will give Walt Disney Animation Studios a much-needed win.

While only time will tell what the Frozen movie has in store, the fact that Disney CEO Bob Iger announced two upcoming sequels within the same year tells us Disney really believes in its Frozen franchise.

Frozen fans certainly have a lot to look forward to!
