Disney Pulls ‘Frozen,’ Elsa and Anna Removed After Peter Pan Exit

A little over a week after Peter Pan (1953) was removed from Disneyland Paris’ Disney Stars on Parade, the beloved character and his Neverland-inspired float have been reinstated.

Parades have been a cornerstone of Disney parks since the opening of Disneyland in 1955, offering guests an immersive way to experience the magic of Disney stories brought to life. The first-ever parade, the Disneyland Opening Day Parade, set the stage for a tradition of vibrant spectacles that would grow all the more elaborate over the decades.

Every Disney resort has its own take on parades, with Disneyland Paris currently home to Disney Stars on Parade.

Performed on and off at the park since 2017, this procession weaves through the park daily, featuring stunning floats inspired by iconic Disney films like Frozen (2013), The Lion King (1994), and Toy Story (1995).

‘Peter Pan’ Scrapped From Parade

Earlier this month, however, Disney scrapped one section from the parade.

The “Discover Imagination” Peter Pan unit has been removed from Disney Stars on Parade, including its musical score.

There is a plan to bring back the float in its original state but unfortunately, it won’t be today.

As reported by DLP Report, the Discover Imagination section – celebrating Peter Pan and the magical world of Neverland – and its soundtrack were removed without explanation when the parade returned after the holiday break.

This has now proven to be temporary, with the Peter Pan section restored – well, nearly the entire section. While the Skull Rock float has returned, the moon float is still MIA, apparently due to technical issues.

But as Peter Pan returns, another section of the parade has disappeared. The Frozen (2013) float featuring Anna and Elsa has now been removed – again, apparently due to technical issues.

🔧 Talking about technical issues, the Frozen float is missing, so the Disney Princesses are closing the parade:

Disney Stars on Parade has encountered technical challenges before. As we previously reported, the Finding Nemo (2003) float has experienced repeated issues, with Crush the sea turtle often unable to move, speak, or blink as intended.
