Cindy Morgan, the actress who is most famous for her roles in Disney’s original “TRON” and “Caddyshack” has passed away.
While we love to report on the wonderful happenings at the Disney Parks, sometimes we have news of a more serious nature; today is one such day. It’s a day to celebrate the life and mourn the passing of a well-known and beloved actress with Disney Fanatic.

Actress Cindy Morgan Passes Away in Her Apartment
Morgan, who is best known for her roles as Lacey Underall in Caddyshack—opposite Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, and Rodney Dangerfield, in which she portrayed the country club owner’s hot niece who captures the attention of every man in the film—and Dr. Lora Baines in Disney’s original Tron film, has died. She was 69.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s office in Florida confirmed her passing to the Los Angeles Times, saying Morgan died of natural causes.

Caddyshack actress Cindy Morgan once said about her role, “Caddyshack was my first film and I’ll say that the end product was so completely different, it was originally about the caddies.” Morgan added in the 2012 interview. “So at first, I had nothing to lose to audition. It was fun. All I did was focus on making the person sweat. Look ’em in the eye, do that thing many women know how to do.”
She also played Jillian Summerset in American Gigolo, and Detective Kelly in Galaxis, among a larger filmography.
As reported by TMZ, Morgan’s roommate “called cops to their Lake Worth Beach home on Dec. 30, 2023 — saying she returned home from a holiday trip, knocked on Cindy’s door in their residence … but got no response…The roommate told officers she smelled a strong odor emanating from inside and called 911, noting the last she’d seen CM alive was on Dec. 19. ”
The police entered the premises to find Ms. Morgan deceased and in her room. At present no foul play is suspected.
