Disney Visa Cardmembers Get New Hotel Discounts and 2027 Savings

Four Disney Visa perks dropped for October, and one of them has a date problem buried in the fine print.

Some context.

The Disney Visa is not a points card. Nobody is out here maximizing travel rewards with it. What it actually is is an access card. Characters meet and greet regular guests who cannot walk into. Photo ops that do not exist for anyone else. Pins you cannot buy without it.

Those perks rotate. Here is October.

1. Disneyland Hotels, Up to 20 Percent Off

Select premium rooms at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Spa, the Disneyland Hotel, and the Pixar Place Hotel.

Sunday through Thursday nights only. Rates good October 11 through December 18.

Book by December 15.

There it is. Stays run through the 18th, booking closes on the 15th. Those are different dates and the earlier one is the one that controls you. Want December 17? Book it by the 15th, or it does not happen.

Also, be real about midweek-only. Up to 20 percent off Sunday through Thursday during Halloween and Christmas season is Disney unloading its slow nights. Fantastic if you are flexible. Worthless if you wanted Saturday.

2. Aulani, Up to 35 Percent Off

Two tiers here.

Up to 35 percent off stays of five nights or more, select dates and rooms.

Or 30 percent off four nights, including Ocean and Partial Ocean views.

Travel October 19 through December 23.

Now catch this. Going from four nights to five nights gets you five more percentage points. On the whole stay.

That is the opposite of how hotel discounts normally work, where a longer stay just means paying the same rate more times. Here, night five improves the rate on everything before it, so what that extra night actually costs you is less than the nightly rate looks like.

Stuck between four and five nights in Hawaii? Price both. The math is nudging you long, and for once it might be right.

3. Up to 30 Percent Off 2027 Disney World

Select rooms and nights: January 3 through April 29, 2027.

Best percentage in this whole batch, and that window is genuinely good. January lull, Presidents Day, spring break, EPCOT festival season.

Check one thing first, though. The Disney Skyliner shuts down January 24 through 30, 2027 for annual maintenance. Booking Pop Century, Art of Animation, Caribbean Beach, or Riviera with this discount? Cross-check those dates. Disney runs buses. You just will not have gondolas.

4. The Cardmember Pin

2026 Cardmember-Exclusive Pin. Mickey with a Cardmember plaque. $21.99.

Two per cardmember, max.

That cap is deliberate. You cannot get one without the card, and a hard limit keeps them scarce. Pin traders are going to want this.

At DisneyStore.com, plus:

Disneyland: Tomorrowlanding, Trolley Treats, Disney's Pin Traders, Westward Ho Trading Company, 20th Century Music Company.

Disney World: Frontier Trading Post, Disney Traders, Celebrity 5 and 10, Discovery Trading Company, Disney's Pin Traders.

The Perks You Already Have and Keep Forgetting

10 percent off select merchandise locations. Also works on packaged food and drinks sold at merchandise locations. Almost nobody uses that part.

Exclusive PhotoPass spots, free downloads. Right now that includes the Holocron Darth Vader photo op at the entrance between Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios. Downloads are free, which is the point, because PhotoPass downloads normally cost.

0 percent financing for six months on select vacation packages. Has to be booked through the Walt Disney Travel Company, Disney sites, or other eligible agents or sites, and paid with the card.

Exclusive character meet and greets. Stitch at Celebrity Spotlight in Hollywood Studios. Select characters at World Celebration in EPCOT near the Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival.

And that is the single most wasted perk on this entire list. Cardmember-only locations mean dramatically shorter lines, and a huge number of cardmembers do not know they exist.

Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck, holding shopping bags and wearing stylish outfits—Minnie in yellow and Daisy in lavender—stand in front of a castle with blue turrets. This fairytale-like scene at Disney World captures the magic worth every penny.

Short Version

Disneyland? December 15, not the 18th.

Aulani? Run four against five.

2027? Best deal here, book early.

In a park right now? Go find the character meet and greet. Costs nothing.
