Planning a Walt Disney World vacation for 2027 just became a lot more exciting. It may also become considerably more expensive.
Disney has confirmed major additions for two of its Florida theme parks next year. Disney's Hollywood Studios will begin welcoming guests into Monstropolis, while Disney's Animal Kingdom will debut Pueblo Esperanza as part of its Tropical Americas transformation.
For guests, that means new attractions and entirely new areas to explore. For their vacation budgets, however, there's another question hanging over 2027.
Disney World ticket prices are already reaching record levels, and Disney hasn't released pricing for November or December yet. If another increase arrives later in the year, peak admission could exceed today's record.
A 10% increase remains speculation. Disney hasn't announced anything close to that. Still, the numbers show just how expensive 2027 could become.
Disney Has Already Set a New Ticket Ceiling
Disney doesn't need another price increase to make 2027 an expensive year.
Vacation packages and ticket prices are currently available through October 31, 2027. Because Walt Disney World uses date-based pricing, guests can pay different amounts depending on their chosen park and visit date.
Magic Kingdom currently tops the list.
Its highest one-day price is $219, released on 2027 dates. That's $10 higher than the $209 maximum available during 2026.
EPCOT reaches $214, while Disney's Hollywood Studios climbs to $209. Disney's Animal Kingdom reaches $189.
For a family, those prices add up quickly.
Four guests paying $219 each would spend $876 before taxes for one day at Magic Kingdom. Hotels, meals, transportation, souvenirs, and Lightning Lane purchases could push the overall cost of the vacation much higher.
Disney now has major new experiences coming that could make 2027 even more popular.

Disney Is Giving Guests New Reasons to Visit
Disney's Hollywood Studios is preparing to introduce guests to Monstropolis in 2027.
The Monsters, Inc.-themed area will open next year, with Disney's suspended-door coaster eventually joining restaurants, shopping, and entertainment.
Disney's Animal Kingdom is getting an even broader addition.
Pueblo Esperanza will open as part of the park's new Tropical Americas area. Guests will find Antonio's Fiesta de Encanto, Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent, and El Carrusel de los Animalitos.
That lineup could make Animal Kingdom particularly important to watch for future ticket prices.
Animal Kingdom has traditionally carried lower one-day admission prices than Magic Kingdom. A major new area filled with attractions gives Disney considerably more to promote at the park.
But exactly when those new experiences arrive could matter.

Disney Hasn't Revealed the Entire 2027 Calendar
The biggest unanswered pricing question sits at the end of the year.
Disney's released bookings currently stop at October 31, meaning November and December ticket prices remain unknown.
Those two months have already brought major demand. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's draw guests to Walt Disney World while the resort celebrates the holiday season.
Now add new attractions to that equation.
Disney hasn't provided exact opening dates for Monstropolis or Tropical Americas. Both are confirmed for 2027, so it's possible that major portions could arrive closer to the end of the year.
If that happens, Disney could find itself balancing holiday crowds with guests eager to experience its newest additions.
That still doesn't guarantee higher prices. Disney hasn't announced another increase, much less a 10% hike.
However, November and December remain open territory.

A 10% Jump Would Change the Numbers Quickly
If Disney raised its currently published maximum prices by 10%, guests would see some striking numbers.
Magic Kingdom would move from $219 to approximately $241 for a peak one-day ticket.
EPCOT would rise from $214 to around $235, while Disney's Hollywood Studios would climb from $209 to roughly $230.
Animal Kingdom would experience another notable milestone. A 10% increase on its current $189 maximum would bring admission to approximately $208.
That would push Animal Kingdom beyond $200.
Disney also has flexibility with its date-based pricing structure. It wouldn't need to apply the same increase every day. Higher-demand dates could climb while less popular periods remain cheaper.
That makes the unreleased holiday calendar particularly important.

2027 Could Test Disney World's Price Limits
Disney World will have plenty working in its favor next year.
Monstropolis adds a major attraction to Hollywood Studios, while Pueblo Esperanza brings several new experiences to Animal Kingdom. Both projects could create additional interest in a year when admission is already reaching new highs.
What happens next remains unknown.
Disney hasn't announced a 10% increase, and there's no guarantee the new lands will lead to another price hike.
But Magic Kingdom has already reached $219 before November, and December prices are even available.
For anyone considering a late-2027 Disney World vacation, the next round of ticket prices could be just as important as the new attractions themselves.
