One of Walt Disney World's most exclusive nighttime experiences just became a little harder to book.
Disney has confirmed that the first Disney After Hours event of 2026 at Disney's Hollywood Studios has officially sold out, leaving only a handful of opportunities for guests hoping to experience the park after dark before this year's event series comes to an end.

For anyone still debating whether the extra ticket is worth it, this latest sell-out suggests plenty of guests have already made up their minds.
Demand Continues to Build
Throughout the year, Disney After Hours events have steadily attracted guests looking for shorter waits and a more relaxed evening inside the parks.
Magic Kingdom has already sold out its entire After Hours season, while EPCOT has also reached capacity on several dates. Until this week, however, Hollywood Studios still had tickets available for every scheduled event.
That changed with the August 5 event, which officially sold out at a ticket price of $169.
It's another reminder that even premium Disney experiences continue drawing strong demand.
More Than Just Extra Park Time
While Disney After Hours is certainly about spending more time inside the park, that's only part of the appeal.
Because attendance is limited, guests often find themselves spending less time standing in line and more time enjoying attractions. For many Disney fans, that's the biggest selling point.

Guests can begin entering Hollywood Studios at 7 p.m., giving them plenty of time before the exclusive portion of the evening officially begins at 9:30 p.m. The event continues until 12:30 a.m., creating an entirely different atmosphere than what visitors experience during the day.
Cooler temperatures and lighter crowds only add to the experience.
Big Attractions Stay Open
Hollywood Studios doesn't scale back its attraction lineup during Disney After Hours.
Many of the park's biggest rides continue operating, including Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, Slinky Dog Dash, Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway, and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.
Disney also includes surprise character appearances throughout the evening, giving guests another incentive to slow down and explore the park.
It's an experience that feels noticeably different from a traditional park day.
Extra Perks Included
The ticket includes complimentary popcorn, bottled drinks, and ice cream novelties throughout the night.
While those refreshments may seem like a small addition, many guests appreciate not having to purchase snacks separately while enjoying the event.

Combined with lower crowds and several extra hours inside the park, it's easy to understand why Disney After Hours continues attracting repeat visitors each year.
Should You Wait?
Five Hollywood Studios After Hours dates remain on the calendar, stretching through September. Ticket prices now range from $155 to $169, and eligible Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members receive a $30 discount.
No one knows whether every remaining event will sell out, but the first capacity date could be a sign that more guests are beginning to lock in their plans.
If Disney After Hours has been sitting on your vacation wish list, the window to experience it in 2026 is getting smaller.
