Disney Cast Members Interrogate Guests After Bus Ride Goes Horribly Wrong

A Walt Disney World Resort guest recently shared their experience of a minor accident that temporarily disrupted their bus ride through the Central Florida theme park destination. A car reportedly side-swiped the Disney bus, forcing it to stop with over a dozen guests onboard. While no one was physically harmed, the situation led to an extensive interview process with Disney cast members, and the experience quickly became the subject of online discussions.

Buses are a key part of the Walt Disney World Resort transportation system. They serve not only Disney Resort hotels but also connect guests to Disney Springs, Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and the water parks. The expansive network of buses supplements other transportation options like the Monorail and Disney Skyliner, providing guests with a convenient way to get around the resort.

Earlier this month, guest Trey (@trey_2_extra on TikTok) was onboard a Disney Resort bus when the accident took place. The guest recalled the moment when a car side-swiped the bus, causing it to come to an immediate stop. Disney cast members quickly began interviewing the guests about what they saw and felt during the incident.

“A car side-swiped our bus at Disney so they’re having to take names for interviews on what we may have seen,” Trey explained. “(I saw and felt nothing).”

Despite the minor nature of the event, guests were reportedly required to stay on the bus until Disney cast members finished gathering the necessary information. Everyone on the bus appeared physically unharmed after the accident, but the situation led to some understandable frustration among those impacted by the delay.

Some Disney Parks fans on social media jokingly suggested they would have exaggerated their injuries to receive compensation for the experience.

“I would be feeling excruciating back pain,” @armoasneda joked.

“No no no bestie your neck hurts, you’re feeling dizzy, you’re seeing stars, and nothing like this has ever happened in your many many years of being a loyal customer and you’re so shocked you may never have the courage to come back to Disney again,” @magically_ashley replied.

Others were more serious in offering advice, with some commenters urging caution and encouraging the guest not to sign anything until a medical professional had assessed the situation.

“Working in a law firm, never give a statement until you are checked out by a doctor!” @tessaelena74 commented. “Your statement could be held against you!”

Disney bus incidents are rare, but not unheard of. Other Walt Disney World guests shared their negative experiences on the resort’s most expansive transportation system.

“I was on a bus when the driver almost crashed, sent a little girl flying and knocked her tooth out,” @pharmd23 said. “Husband whacked his shoulder. Driver didn’t do anything about it. We all had to go to the front desk and complain.”

“When me and a friend went out resort hopping the bus driver took a wrong turn and got us stuck in a parking lot that he couldn’t turn around in and ended up backing into the pipe,” @dreag19_ replied. “We had to do the same form but we didn’t know what to do coz we weren’t even staying at the resort we were headed to.”

Walt Disney World Resort has not made a public statement about the recent minor bus accident.
