Disney World Halloween Party Availability Shrinks After Two More Sellouts

Demand for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party continues to build well before the first guests even arrive.

Walt Disney World has confirmed that August 18 and October 13 are now sold out, making them the fourth and fifth party dates to reach capacity for the 2026 season.

The newest sellouts also reveal something interesting about how guests are booking this year's event.

At first, the pattern seemed straightforward.

The lowest-priced nights disappeared first, with August 11 and August 14 quickly selling out after Halloween night became unavailable. Those parties offered the lowest admission prices of the year, making them especially appealing for families trying to keep vacation costs manageable.

August 18 wasn't far behind.

Priced at $129, it remained one of the more affordable options available and has now joined the growing list of sold-out dates.

October 13, however, breaks the earlier trend.

Tickets for that evening were selling for $209, making it one of the highest-priced parties of the season. Even so, guests purchased every available ticket.

That suggests many visitors are placing greater value on traveling during October rather than simply choosing the least expensive option.

October has long been one of Walt Disney World's busiest times of the fall. Cooler evenings, Halloween decorations throughout Magic Kingdom, seasonal entertainment, and school holiday schedules all help make the month especially attractive for families planning Disney vacations.

As more October vacations become finalized, additional party dates could begin disappearing quickly.

Guests hoping to experience the event should remember that Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party operates differently from a standard park day. Admission requires a separate ticket, and Disney limits attendance to create a more comfortable experience with shorter attraction waits and room for entertainment throughout the evening.

Once those tickets are gone, there is typically no opportunity to purchase additional admission for that night.

The event itself remains one of Disney's most popular seasonal offerings.

Guests can enjoy trick-or-treating across Magic Kingdom, exclusive Halloween-themed entertainment, specialty food and beverages, limited-edition merchandise, and rare character meet-and-greets that aren't available during regular park hours.

Popular entertainment includes the Boo-To-You Halloween Parade, the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular on the Cinderella Castle stage, and Disney's nighttime Halloween spectacular.

Several attractions also receive seasonal enhancements, giving returning visitors another reason to experience the park during the event.

Although many dates remain available, this latest round of sellouts serves as another reminder that demand continues to increase as fall gets closer.

Anyone planning a Walt Disney World vacation during Halloween season may want to secure party tickets now rather than hoping their preferred night will still be available later.

With five parties already sold out and more guests finalizing autumn travel plans each week, additional dates could reach capacity much sooner than expected.
