Choosing the right Walt Disney World park can make a huge difference when you're traveling with young children. While every park offers Disney magic, some are much better suited for families with strollers, toddlers, and younger kids.

Here's how the four parks rank today.
Magic Kingdom Still Reigns Supreme
If you're visiting Walt Disney World with young children, Magic Kingdom is still the gold standard.
The park feels like classic Disney from the moment you enter. Cinderella Castle creates that unforgettable first impression, and nearly every land offers attractions designed with families in mind.

Young children can spend hours riding attractions without encountering height restrictions. Add in playgrounds, splash areas, parades, character greetings, and family entertainment, and it becomes easy to understand why Magic Kingdom remains the most popular park at Walt Disney World.
No other park provides the same combination of attractions and experiences for younger guests.
EPCOT Earns the Runner-Up Spot
EPCOT has quietly transformed into one of Disney World's strongest parks for families.
The addition of Journey of Water Inspired by Moana gave kids a hands-on experience unlike anything else on property. The Seas with Nemo & Friends remains another major attraction for younger visitors thanks to its aquarium and marine exhibits.
Families also benefit from some of the best character opportunities at Walt Disney World. Popular Disney characters can be found throughout the park, giving children multiple opportunities to meet their favorites.

Figment continues attracting younger audiences, while the play area attached to the attraction gives families another reason to stop.
For years EPCOT was viewed as the park adults enjoyed most. Today, it deserves recognition as one of Disney World's best family destinations.
Hollywood Studios Is Rapidly Improving
Hollywood Studios lands in third place, but it may be the fastest-rising park on this list.
The park already offers family favorites like Toy Story Land, Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway, The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure, and the Frozen Sing-Along.

Character interactions continue expanding, and Disney has even more additions planned.
The future Drawn to Wonderland playground, new character experiences, and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! should significantly improve the park's appeal for younger visitors.
Hollywood Studios still lacks the overall ride count of Magic Kingdom and EPCOT, but the gap is shrinking.
Animal Kingdom Comes in Last
Animal Kingdom's fourth-place ranking does not mean families should skip it.
In fact, many children absolutely love seeing live animals throughout the park. Kilimanjaro Safaris remains one of the most memorable experiences Disney offers, and Pandora provides an environment unlike anything else at Walt Disney World.
The park also features excellent stage shows, including Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo: The Big Blue… and Beyond!

The challenge is that many of these experiences are spread across a large park. Families often spend considerable time walking between attractions, and the overall number of rides for younger children remains limited compared to the other parks.
New additions like Bluey's Wild World and the Zootopia show are helping address that issue, but Animal Kingdom still has ground to make up.
For now, the rankings remain simple: Magic Kingdom leads the way, EPCOT follows closely behind, Hollywood Studios continues gaining momentum, and Animal Kingdom rounds out the list.
