Prepare to pay more for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party this year.
This week, Walt Disney World Resort shared a major update about its 2025 holiday offerings—and if you’re hoping to celebrate at Magic Kingdom Park this Christmas season, it will cost more than ever. The entertainment giant released details for seasonal celebrations across all four parks, including returning favorites like the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays and The Merry Menagerie at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Both of those offerings are included with regular admission.

Other experiences are separately ticketed, including Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom Park and Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Both events offer after-hours access, unique entertainment, exclusive characters, and themed treats.
This year, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will run from November 7 through December 21, 2025, and feature returning staples like Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, and Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration. Guests can also look forward to complimentary festive snacks and exclusive meet-and-greets with characters like Anna, Elsa, and Santa Jack Skellington.
Ticket pricing, however, is where the real surprise came in.
Last year, the event’s most expensive ticket was $219. In 2025, that number jumps to $229, a $10 increase. While the lowest-priced tickets remain $169 (typically reserved for early November weekdays), families visiting closer to Christmas will need to pay top dollar.
That $10 increase might not seem like much, but for a family of four, it adds up to an extra $40 just to get through the gates, on top of what you’re already spending on regular theme park tickets, lodging, food, travel, and souvenirs.

Walt Disney World Resort also released the full list of event dates, confirming that Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will take over Magic Kingdom Park on the following nights:
November: 7, 10, 11, 13, 14, 16, 18, 20, 21, 25, 26, 28, and 30
December: 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11, 12, 14, 16, 18, 19, and 21
Ticket sales for Disney Resort hotel guests begin July 16 and open to the general public on July 22. Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can save $10 per ticket on select nights, although Disney has yet to confirm which dates qualify for those discounts.
